I have an IWS here in Sayreville, they're the most expensive around. I generally buy online if it's something I can wait for or Middlesex Welding in North Brunswick if I need it quick. This was a guy from Craigslist selling leads at a good price.

There aren't many welding shops in my town, and if I am going to drive, I have to factor in time, fuel and tolls into the cost. So IWS tends to even out over traveling up to Linden or North Brunswick for Goodliffe or Middlesex welding supply.
I don't do enough to warrant buying online, since the rod will end up with some moisture by the time I needed it again... and I am not about to buy an over for one to two jobs a year, lol.
I wonder if I can use a toaster oven to dry rod. I use it for tempering, and I can keep a relatively stable temp (+/- 4°) for hours at a time.
