Random Thought Thread

Sorry to hear about your son Brian! Good thing is that he is young-Being Young=Faster recovery time!!!!

AAAAaaaannnnnddd yes, surgery is needed. why me? why? scheduled him to go in on weds morning. It's diagonal across the growth plate and probably needs hardware installed.
Bah, no good...
Wishing him the best of a speedy recovery.

In my case, my hardware wasn't put in until after I was in a cast for two weeks, after my second opinion... The first doc thought they would set normally.
Due to that, I had some nerve damage, from the bones laying along side one another and overlapping about 3/4", so the nerves shortened a little. When they stretched all of my tissue back, the nerves stretched too, this caused loss of sensation in just about my whole left hand. Over the next year, the feeling gradually came back, starting with my left thumb, and radiating to my left pinky.

I hope that your son doesn't experience anything like that. He will have to be Very careful with hot and sharp materials in particular.

Best wishes!

Damn man.. that's certainly a bummer. I'm sure he'll bounce back quickly.

Best wishes for a quick recovery!

Thanks, I will tell him the knife guys are rooting for him. He did wrangle a new Play Station Vita out of this deal. Hope that's not a mistake.
At least he knows how to break stuff the right way!
He sounds like a "go big or go home" kinda guy!

I love my truck.. but my truck is not loving me with the TBC acting up. No trailer brakes and a bobcat sucks.

Na it's the trailer brake controller that was installed from the factory. The screen in the dash is telling me there's a TBC fault. Gonna have to get a new one soon.

Hopefully it's an easy fix, I don't know about the factory kind. I put controls in an older truck the other day that's needed some for a long time, but had to replace the wiring clear back to the harness. I had about torn it all out, as it was in my hunting truck.
