Amazing. I'll definitely warm up the leather with my wife's hairdryer 🤣

Do you guys also warm up your blades before applying any wax or-the-like to them? I've heard flitz works especially well doing that.
And surely you'd need to get to a much higher temperature then a hairdryer before the HT protocols are affected?

I've never heated blades to put any protectant on. Rarely use any wax based stuff. Mostly just mineral oil. In FL I used to use Marine Tuf-Cloth but haven't in years.

Does anyone have a good leather protector that they particularly recommend? I usually only use kydex but had to get one of those beautiful cpirtle made sheaths for my Dek1.
I use mink oil on all my leather goods, shoes, boots. Except my old school hacky sack and baseball glove. I always used glovolium on those.

It is from Fiebings.
Actually, it’s from minks. Pressed minks I imagine. But then Fiebings puts it in a little tub you can buy.

turns out I wont be able to make it down to oklahoma this year due to financial constraints.

some vehicle issues destroyed my fun money nest egg and I'm completely crushed by it.
