It's so damn humid here

Harrison, unthinkingly, dumped a wheelbarrow in the dirt where we were going to be running the forklift yesterday

I was like dang that's going to be muddy. But that's okay we'll just do it tomorrow

It hasn't rained

It's still muddy there

As haot as it is, it's so damn humid that the water won't evaporate off the ground

Can't do excessive rain and can't do super humid. Prefer dry and brown high desert to that sorta scenario. Yup, I'm weird in that way, I need to see big blue skies. The ocean next door here in Cali is a major bonus but probably won't be able to afford that in perpetuity as we the older folks are getting gentrified by the younger bucks! C'est la vie...

Yup.... it's gross feeling out

Be careful with knofes you peoples!!!

My son did this early last week when we were camping. Late one evening he was splitting some hardwood we'd brought from the Maple tree in the yard, when I heard a yelp, and when both my wife and I looked over, he had a look on his face... "How bad is it?" were the first words out of my mouth. Seeing all the blood dripping everywhere, I already knew the answer... 😬 🤦🏻‍♂️

He was doing something stupid, I'm not totally sure what, and he nearly filleted the meat/pad off of his right thumb. 🫣 An hour trip (each way) to the nearest ER and they got it all stitched up and glued back together... 😒 And our trip got cut short. Boo.

Doctors/nurses all commented on how clean the cut was...
(but don't get me started on the "What kind of knife was it? type of BS questions... 🤨)
