More importantly, how would Adam and Eve know it was bad to disobey God's command before they had knowledge of good and evil?
I think they understood good and evil to some degree, but that the ruling of what is, came from God. So in part, eating of the fruit was not only disobedience but a desire to determine for themselves good and evil

Genesis 2: 16-17

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Genesis 3: 1-5

3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”

4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

They were told not to eat of the Tree of Life Knowledge. (See below.)
Yes they were told not to, but how did they know that doing something they were told not to do was a bad thing prior to having knowledge of good and evil?

They understood it to some degree but not to the degree to even know that they are naked? If you look in Deuteronomy 1:39 you can see the same phrase describing children who don't know right from wrong, who will not be punished like the adults. So knowledge of good and evil seems to clearly denote actual knowledge and moral culpability.

James 4: 17

So for one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin.

They had been told what not to do and did it anyway.

That begs the question because the entire question is whether they knew the right thing to do. It seems they didn't prior to eating from the tree of knowledge. Only after eating from the tree did they have knowledge of what the right thing to do was and so they didn't have moral culpability for their actions prior to eating from the tree.

More importantly, how would Adam and Eve know it was bad to disobey God's command before they had knowledge of good and evil?
They didn’t know it was bad. They were told if they ate from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that they would die. They ate the fruit and did not die. So God lied to them and the snake told the truth. Odd case

God didn’t lie. Adam and Eve were created in the likeness of God, meaning his attributes not physical appearance.
Adam and Eve were created to live forever. It wasn’t until they disobeyed God’s direction that sin entered the world.

For the wages of sin is death. Adam and Eve did in fact die.

Well, they did eventually die. It implies they would have lived forever in the Garden, but chose exile and death.

They ate the fruit and didn’t die. The only way for them to have lived forever would have been to eat the fruit of the tree of life and become gods. They got the god mind from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The birth of consciousness

This is Biblically incorrect, respectfully. They were created to live forever. They didn’t need the fruit to live forever.

It was the forbidden fruit that actually caused their (and our) deaths.

He doesn't say you will eventually die, he said "for in the day that you eat of it you shall die." They didn't die that day.

they did die eventually.. you’re second sentence is a false assumption

Then what is the point of the Tree of Life?

Then the Lord God said, "See, the humans have become like one of us, knowing good and evil, and now they might reach out their hands and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever”
