In general, no activity that brings pleasure is truly rational.

The video is funny — in some places even very funny — but that’s most likely because I’m extremely ironic and self-deprecating.

Of course, you can put on a very intellectual face and say something like:“Well, this thing is actually useful, and doing it is smart.”

But in the end, you’re still just wasting your time and resources.

And the last 10 years have shown that even so-called fundamental values often turn out to be completely useless.

Who knows, considering how things are going in the world, our grandchildren might straight up curse us for leaving them some real estate as an inheritance, Lol.

Considering how many "fundamental values" turned out to not be so fundamental after all.

I also bought myself some special clay teapot and a bunch of gaba tea.

Just drank it, and soon I’m gonna go crash hard.

They say it helps with sleep.

I don’t know, I already sleep really well anyway.

But I’ve only been drinking this tea for 4 days.

I heard that after 2 months I should develop X-ray vision.

And in six months I’ll be able to walk through walls.

Tea is a great replacement for alcohol.

Remember when I told you I came home in someone else’s shoes? I haven’t drunk since then.
(Like 1st or 2nd April)

Is there some kind of tea that feels like beer?

Gotta find out.

I finished the whole teapot of this tea.

I think I don’t feel the effect because I’m comparing it to 8 cans of beer.

Hmmmmmm

A whole pot of tea to yourself before bed?
You used to sleep well. At my age, you’ll wake up 3 times to pee.

Also, congrats on the no alcohol…musta been some pretty terrible shoes.

I hope that with age I’ll just start farting a lot.

Or something like that.

I love drinking a lot of tea before bed, in general, or like, water.

My superpower is not waking up from it.

In the morning, I’m ready to explode, lol.

But at least I sleep perfectly through the whole night.

Honestly, it’s not like I’ve straight-up quit drinking or anything.

I just really hope that maybe I’ll at least be able to see through walls from all this mindfulness and stuff 😏

Take care of the tools and other things that you might need to rely on. Quality tools are cheaper in the long run generally.
The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money. Take boots, for example. ... A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. ... But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while a poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet.
