Random Thought Thread

Are you sure that they were not stainless hex types?
Maybe?!? I ordered Ti. Jo’s pretty solid. I’d expect I got what I ordered. The short set (towards the butt of the knife) sat proud so I had to trim it. It was 8/32 thread and a lot tougher than most of the screws I cut (I do this a lot in my job). I don’t know... it all went well.

ETA: “tougher” was the wrong descriptor to use in Nathan’s forum. The screw I trimmed required a lot more pressure and then snapped/sheared suddenly.

I’m hoping both the black screws and the titanium screws are allen heads. I just changed my FK1 to titanium screws today. I used allen wrenches to remove the black screws and to install the Ti.
My eyes aren’t what they used to be but...

Our titanium screws are allen head now, but they used to be torx.

How’s everyone doing on lockdown? We’re having a neighborhood block party tonight, and me and my neighbor are doing a rib off. I’m smoking six racks and he’s smoking six racks. I already know I’m going to win so no big deal for me. I need to get off my butt and go split some kindling with my FK2 here before to long...

*We are all covid-19 free in our close knit circle, and social distancing rules may or may not be broken today/tonight.

So I’m watching TV and I see this report about a long line of cars in some areas as some cities are running food banks.

Couldn’t help but notice that there were some very nice and expensive cars in those long lines! Am I being way too judgmental?

Jo: oh my God what happened to your arm?

Me: nothing I don't want to talk about it

Jo: Jesus Nate what happened?
Jo : sympathy

Nate: it's a burn. I burnt it...

Jo: inquisitive. How exactly did you burn your arm Nate?

Nate: I was swinging around on a chain in the new shop while drunk and smoking a cigar

Jo: disdain
