Nice...

Winston

Of course they don't call them Black Talons anymore since the public outcry and people scared of them because they were black. But they are the same ammo, they don't look as, "scary". Sometimes my favorite online ammo store will trade a bunch of ball rounds to police departments for some BT's. And they sell fast! I would check their website 10 times a day until they had some for sale - and they sell out quick.

RA9T?

I thought it was funny when they stopped making then black and changed the name to SXT. The rumor was that the acronym meant Same Xact Thing.:p

I can learn to like ugly. The same can't be said for lack of function, poor durability or sub par ergonomic interface
Yep.

And with tools like guns and knives, there are really only so many ways to design them while still ensuring excellent function, and functionality has a beauty of its own.

Now when you're talking about things like shoes, cars, clothing or artwork, then we're trying to account for individual tastes and preferences in aesthetics. The fact that someone, somewhere has bought/used/owned/worn just about everything that's ever been made available, shows that someone, somewhere has liked the way it looks.

Those are close. Mine say Winchester Ranger +P Law Enforcement Ammo. They called them cop killers and stuff. Some people get crazy sometimes! They will not penetrate body armor, but the petals flair out with very sharp edges. I have some that I shot into a bullet catcher that my dad and I built before he passed away. They are buzz saws!

RA9T/Ranger-T is actually the most recent (though still several years old) iteration, designed to expand more reliably in the denim tests than the older versions.

I don't feel like getting banned from BF today, so I will not comment about, "her".

“Her” aside, this is just another added tension to an already fragile situation.

I’m in a community right along the US-Canadian border with industry that relies heavily on cross border traffic and economic activity. Both sides really. Lots of us up here are hugely effected by what happens south of the border not only economically but socially as well.

I used to be in the US 2-3 times a week. Not anymore.

Glock. I know they take a licking and keep on ticking, but I just can't own one. Just sayin'... (sneaks off to don protective flame suit)
Thank you for the laugh - I needed that! :D

...
As long as it goes bang that's all that counts. Not a Glock hater, but just don't feel comfortable in my hands.
...
Same here. They just don't fit my hand well.

"No politics please", and then inject politics... Maybe they mean, "politics for me, but not for thee".

Can you please explain how I was injecting politics? I was trying to be as polite and neutral as possible and even give (IMO) a funny similarity. It is like saying "but" in a sentence, essentially you negate what you just said. For example, "that’s a great idea, but we tried it before and it didn’t work". It isn’t a fact, it’s an opinion "that every other woman in America owe a lot to the efforts of RBG". Facts can be proven.

Some liked her and thought she was good for the country. Some didn’t like her and thought she was bad for the country.

Politics can be very polarizing and this isn’t the place for that.
