Not sure wich style...

Wow awesome chart... never seen that before... love doing historic replicas and interpretations...

Loving all the ideas guys.... glad I did it this way... much more interesting than just a bunch of "I'm in" post...

Thanks for all the participation ... will be glad to post progress pics of whatever we build.

I'm in would love something similar to the spyderco Wilson south fork in either d2 or 154 !

Im in.
I would love to see a modern take on a santoku with a modernized octagon handle made of g10 or micarta.

Shape would be similar to this.

154 CM. Thank you. Very awesome opportunity.

who could resist such a fantastic opportunity!

Here is a picture of the style I'd be interested in.... the third one from the left....second brown handled knife.

Why? I have NO idea... it's just one that's ALWAYS tickled my fancy and I never got the chance before it was discontinued.

D2, 8 to 10 inch, G10 or Micarta handles

I appreciate the chance regardless of how slim my chances are....thank you for the GAW, ultra cool of you.

Good on you for this! I would like to have a 4 1/2 inch kwaiken with a 4 inch handle and slightly curved back. By slightly I mean almost a straight back. If you could do a japanese wrap that would be best with green underlay and black wrap but otherwise carbon fiber high polish slabs for the handle with a lanyard hole. I would want D2 and the following should give you some ideas. If you really want a challenge put in a hamon

Hmmm...always liked the shape of the M2. Just out of my price range. Something similar would be nice in 154cm!

Someone already mentioned the Spyderco Southfork derived from the Phil Wilson custom knife and I think that would be a very nice one in D2 around 60-61 RC.
Below is a picture of both knives I found on the web. If I was lucky enough I would not want any hole in the blade which is Spyderco's trademark. A micarta handle would be perfect. Thank you for the generous giveaway and the opportunity.

I'd go for a 9.25" blade, 4.25" handle Chefs knife in D2.

Blade to be a full flat ground drop point with minimal belly. Almost a drop point/sheepsfoot hybrid.. acid etched. It would have to be extremely thin behind the edge.

Handle to be fully contoured lightning strike carbon fiber with natural G10 liners.

That would make me a happy chef.

Still three days to get your name in the hat if there is anyone left.... thinking I should have made it a shorter entry period....

Lobing all the ideas... definitely some originalnstufc here I had not even considered.

Congratulations on the expansion and thanks for the giveaway.
How about starting with a pattern similar to the ESEE Junglas with an 8-9" blade, drop the point a little more, eliminate the extended pommel, add a choil, and a hollow pin to allow the use of a lanyard.

Awesome giveaway! Count me in.

I'd love to see something like a cross between a mod nightwing and a ratmandu. Not a very good artist so can't really put my idea to paper but love the idea

Thank you very much for this opportunity. I'm in!
I also would be interested in a tanto in a style similar to this pic. Approx 6" blade in D2 with black G10 handle.

I'm in. I call it Ode to ZT566. I'm in the market for a bushcraft/survival style fixed blade and the ZT566 has the perfect handle shape for me. I'd like to see it in 154cm with Micarta or G10 handles and a full flat or high hollow grind.

Either a 10" this in 154 CM nice and shiny: View attachment 606129 with a shiny dark wood handle- maybe maple or something classy.

a 154 cm 5 inch middle
WhiteBAB.jpg

Or a D2 heavy yet distal tapered harpoon bowie, 8 or 10 inch, harpoon approx 3/8 of blade- this style, but interpreted by you. Lighter wood: s-l300.jpg

Zero

First, thanks a lot for the chance. It's fun just to imagine winning. Imagine if I won.lol.
Next, congratulations on the upgrade. Awesome to see anyone pursuing the craft they enjoy.
Last, of course, the knife: I would love to start with the profile of an ESEE 4.
From there I'd make it .25" thick and give it a true(mildly convex) zero grind.
Shiny, polished D2. I like D2. A lot. With dark green textured and rounded G10 handle scales.
Add in a kydex/hard plastic sheath and it might take a few days for me to recover
from the excitement.lol.
Seriously, to me this would be a beautiful 24/7 do-all/be-all survival/utility/food prep/user
that I'd carry for years. No body makes anything quite like it. At least not that
I can find/afford. I've rambled enough. Thanks again for the chance bud. Good night.

Not exactly...refined. But I don't have access to a camera to take pictures of a drawing so I just used inkscape, which I am not very proficient at yet. D2 would be my preference as I am familiar with it.
