RAT Cutlery Announces Name Change

ESEE sounds all business. I'm the type to prefer how BMW names their car models simple numbers rather than naming them after ferocious or fast animals like so many other car companies. I see ESEE knives in a similar way. I think it's fitting considering how many military personel and LEOs favor your knives. It definitely works for me.

lol Seems to me there is to many letters. Looks a lot like algebra to me. E times S times E times E equals kick ass knife

As long as I know who to send my Junglas & Machete payment to, it's all good.

Prices please.

Hmm, this will take some getting used to.

Almost pissed my pants when I couldnt find "Rat Cutlery" in the forums page.

ESEEK is easier to say, but it makes me think of some sort of search engine called E-Seek. :p

Actually, throughout the Vietnam War, a lot of the survival kits were SEEK. Survival-Evasion-Escape-Kit so if they wanted to go with pronouncing this E-SEEK or SEEK, that would really be cool. Hahaha!

Well, I was going to say I'm the first one, but actually maybe I'm not...

I kind of liked the old name better. I think it is a shame that (perhaps!) it had to be changed due to some other companies trying to confuse people by selling similar named knives.

I liked "RAT Cutlery" and was looking forward to join the "RAT pack". The new name isn't as appealing to me, maybe even because of the spanish words forming the first part of the name. It may be a misrouted sense for esthetics, but I shiver when I see multilanguage-combination of words. And yes, I understand the phonetic advantage of ESEE (easy) to SSEE (ssii). But still...:(

Anyways, the knives are great. I guess that's what counts in the end.

At least now there is a distinctive name to the products, I had a hard time specifying the brand in the Knife store I worked at.

Thought RAT forum was banned until I realized the name change.
ESEE = School of Survival in English or SoS

SoS cutlery would have been good. Ahhhh.......same shi..... different pile. Very good shi....though.

man, i felt the need to change my avatar. i liked the other logo but this new one is cool too.

Randy Pack?
Nah.
Sounds like a bag Austin Powers would use to store condoms.

ESEE Club?
Sounds like the girls who post in the Craig'slist personals.

Can we keep the Rat Pack as is? I'll still be up for buying an E-5 with a black blade.

The RAT Pack will remain so until at least until we reach 1,000 members, then it will be up for discussion, haven't said for sure if it is changing.
