Rat Hunter

Juiceseller,
You crack me up. Your comments are so strange they make me laugh. Thanks for stopping by to give the forum some humor.

I have the power to lock your threads, move your comments to the backend if I really wanted to, no one but other moderators would see them, if I wanted to be a bully I could. I am not concerned about competition or comparing brands, if you had spent any time looking at this forum you would see that.

LOL. Thanks for the humorous comments.

:D:D

I've stayed out of this so far. It's been kind of humorous. But come on. Know the product and the people you're talking to. Calling Eric a bully is...well....ridiculous.
Fallkniven is a fine company that makes a fine product. I'm quite happy you've found your blade of choice. What I've wondered while reading this whole thing is why you first, hijacked a thread about a completely different topic instead of starting your own and two why you felt the need to come on this forum in the first place if you've already found your be all end all of knives.
Swamp Rat knives have gone through boat loads of testing. Torture testing at the shop and some of these nuts have done similar things with their own knives in the field. :p
I happen to like Busse knives the best. I'm not going to go on to another manufacturers forum and tout my choice as the best. That's just bad form. If anything you should have posted a "comparison" thread on the general forum. I've never compared the knives but after seeing what the Rats can withstand I know who I'd put my money on.
The thing is, why is it a competition? All these companies exist because there are so many different tastes. Just go use your blades and enjoy them for what they are. A tool.

The sad truth is, trolls like this loser don't ever intend to use any info he's gained or any test results. It's all a thinly-veiled excuse to stir up crap. Well, I have to agree with one of Eric's points - this shmuck is laughable at best.

Oh, and Bully for you, Eric! :D

Juicetroller, most of the people in this forum are polite, patient and knowledgable. I'm thinkin' screw the polite and patient part now. If you want to go somewhere and make uneducated half-threats of tests and so on, go to Whine & Cheese. We don't mind you stirring the Sh!t there. Just be warned, they flame those making statements without JUICE in that forum. If you want proof, look for it. But, like they tell the rest of the newbies, sit back, pay attention and shut up if you don't have anything of value to add.

Hoo boy, just when you think its safe to post again! Here come the Juice! though it has been rather amusing lately. :D

Just got a Rat Hunter on trade yesterday, had to trade my Howling Fat for it, but I think it was worth it. Really like the heft, feels a lot thicker than 3/16". Mine's sterile (there goes my plan for breeding;) it...

GregB

Congratulations on getting the Rat Hunter.

They are a wonderful bush knife, a hunters dream come true. :p

Don’t let the sterile thingy fool ya, you need two for them to breed. :p:P

Those hunters just look too comfortable. Nice triple there, I love that custom.

Man, that custom shop skinner was a nice snag Ian. A nice photo as well! :D

Hey Ian, something's wrong with that one in the middle! Send it to me and I'll send you my legit Rat Hunter! I hate to see good people get hornswaggled. :grumpy:

Hell yeah, that why the American people love an underdog like me, Pal.........what you see here is bunch of RAT pack with rat mentality sticking up for their useless toys...........

Let me ask you if you say your knife is so good, why does it need "crinkle" finish coating on the blade for?...........afraid a little oxygen and water?

How a about a soak test in acid and see which if your well "engineer" blade survive, eh?

Cheers,

Once again thanks for the outstanding humor. I don't know what your real job is, if you have one, but you could easily pass for a comic. Thanks again, stop by anytime.

:D:D

I think there is maybe something in his drink other than juice, no?

LMAO - This just gets better and better...

What we have here is a person that knows so little about knives and steel they are not even in the right county, much less ballpark.

I would love to hear what the people in the know at Fallkniven think about their uber knowledgeable fan base.

I can hear 'em now, "Run over there to another forum for a while. Yea, that's it. Hang out somewhere else and spread all that knowledge around."

OK, listen up folks...... When I first join the forum, my impression was this is a forum for the discussion of knife and that also means TO COMPARE knives, knife tests, results, "unbiased" evaluations and so forth.

I did not know that there are knife brand name cults on this forum.
Even political forums......too!! and down the alley, there is also wines and cheese forum for the foul mouth and the perverts. Thanks for the invitation, but no thanks.......

And when I stop in here, all I hear is rave and brandishing stories about knives, I almost could not believe my eyes!...

This is like playgrounds for boys..........never once I have heard anyone discuss about real value in the blades other than "looks"...........like you guy/gal were comparing cars and skirts.....

You dont have to believe me but I studied blade sciences and history and the most excellent cutleries that show "value" as well as functionality are those of Japanese and Scandinavian designs.

I did own lot of Bowie knives as an outdoor individual but I got rid of them all since they are useless for what I need cutlery for...........

Anyhow, If you want to ban me, do it..........I am quite disppoint here and thank for the damn hospitality. I dont play with knife, I have enough respect for them to treat them as usefull tools, and that how I like to live as man, not boys.

Cheers,

Juice

..........I am quite disppoint here

Okay, thanks for stopping by. I assume since you are so disappointed you'll just leave now.

If you had any honest desire to know anything about our knives you would have asked actual questions rather than tell us how stupid we were. We have done the tests and the reviews, we have seen the results. We tried to show you, you ignored us.

As I said, your humor was enjoyable. Since you don't like how we run this forum please don't come back

"Please ban me! Here, I will attempt to insult you. . .Pow!"

I think that about sums it up.
Either you are very clever- and a comedian, or just very dumb.
