RC3 disapointment

I'm blown away by seeing how ESEE operates and their warranty service. No joke, this is way above and beyond. Good on you ESEE, all knife companies should care this much about their product and customers.

Like a few others havd already stated...Awesome customer service! I just have a quick question. I have hd some warranty issues with other companies when the product was not purchased from a dealer or directly from the manufacturer. If a ESEE product is purchased from someone, let's say thru the forums, do the same warranties apply as if they were purchased from you directly? Someone can smack me later if this has already been asked before.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen customer service like that in my life. That's awesome and as far as I'm concerned, above and beyond the call of duty.

Batoning with an RC3 I would think is dicey to begin with. Although I feel the knife is extremely robust and durable it is not the largest/thickest blade out there. I guess I equate it to driving in a screw with a hammer, it will eventually get in there but that's not the way it was supposed to work, and for ESEE to warranty the knife when it's being used for questionable purposes, I'm impressed.

the warranty is completely transferrable, if you are the 1000th owner of the knife and it breaks it is still covered, the warranty stays with the knife.

it is no questions asked, lifetime, and transferable, what more can you ask for? :D

100% Covered !

Ima go buy one from somebody right now....I want to have one now just because this is such an awesome company!!
I'm sure I may and up actually using and loving the knife but that's besides the point!

Well, tell us how much to ship it back then? We ship stuff overseas all the time via postal servce and it's reasonable. We will cover the costs.

Holy crap I will screen shot this and make my wallpaper! Now thats dedication! I will rant on my blog for my family site now about this...this is nuts. Can I just voice my opinion in that, you guys are awesome? Just mho:D:cool:

EDIT:::

To HSG, theres KSF, KC, KW, so many; just make the buy O:D

Our customers mean EVERYTHING to us. The Rowens, Mike, Patricia, the moderators here, and everyone associated with ESEE and Randall's Adventure & Training feel that way. If they don't then none of will keep the doors open and we will all go fishing and say to hell with his business.

check the exchange - there was a 3, 4, & 5 out there earlier.
the 5 was at a good enough price if it had been posted in the right forum it'd have been gone in under an hour. (and may not be there now) I don't need a 5, but it was tempting...

Used ESEE knives sell like hotcakes, and you dont see very many either on the exchange. Im still looking for a particular used model and I'll be damed if I could find one, or buy it in time !

What a stand up company this is. Reminds me of Jerry and Busse knives. Except less booze and more talk of panties here. :D Or maybe about the same.

I'm pretty sure my RC-5 will never need the warranty but it's nice to know it's there and this good.:thumbup:

I must say I am blow away by this. I don't own an ESEE product at this time but I will in the near future. I wish more people saw the value in their customers that you all see. You all have a very special perspective that more businesses could take some lessons from. Good Luck in the future.

Awesome attitude.
I was out with some scouts this evening, showing them how to make fire without a lighter. Batoning my izula to split some wood, some of the guys asked if i wasn't afraid damage the knife. This topic alone is why i wasn't.
Don't know the brand for more than a few weeks but this topic really is a great advertisement!

Well, these knives keep proliferating in my collection since I got the gateway drug (IZULA of course) a while ago , and a H.E.S.T. is on the way right now, will be no. 4 in the family...

I am pretty sure I won't break any of them in the near future, but it is just as most of you say and feel: it is nice to know about the warranty. And this thread shows that it pays off in the long term anyway: it attracts big loads of new customers, and rightfully so.

Keep up the good work!

Dennis

I have never poster on Bladeforums before but to see this....I am amazed. An Izula just moved up my list to play with my RC-6.
