Recommendations for small/tiny quality folders

What about a Protech Half Breed or Sprint?
Not expensive, great brand, good steel, one hand operation, kinda cool factor, sharp. :)
I actually plan on getting one of those very soon. I have a damascus Kershaw Launch 4, but the damascus isn't too good and the price of that Protech is pretty good in my opinion. It makes me regret buying the Launch 4 damascus.

I probably should start a different thread for this, but today I got an email from a website for a private sale and they have the DPx Heat for a good price. I'm trying to decide whether I should get it with Niolox or Sleipner as the blade. Do any of you have any suggestions? I don't know anything about either steel and these are pretty much the only steels that I don't already have. They also have the private sale for the new Bestech Engine Bowie flipper which I was about to buy from BHQ (I actually put it in my online shopping cart last night), but it's about $20 cheaper on this private sale.
I'd love to hear your opinions on the Niolox and Sleipner. I've always liked D2 and the only thing I know about Sleipner is that it's kind of like an upgrade to D2. That being said, I know absolutely nothing about Niolox.

(I need to start proof-reading before I post. It's getting ridiculous how often the "auto-correct" on my phone is auto-incorrect.)

I love the William & Henry knives, but I would be terrified to use one, lol. They are unbelievable pieces of art. I especially love their incorporation of fossilized corals into the handles/scales/inserts. Unfortunately, those ones are very expensive, but they are damn beautiful!!!

I have been EDCing a William Henry knife for at least a dozen years. Nothing can knock it out of my pocketView attachment 1013615 View attachment 1013616 . It pushes all of my buttons and needs no special care.

The original knife started out as a W/H B-15 Tom Brown Tracker. I bought it from A.G. Russell for $325. Over the years I have added a San Mai Damascus blade, a pocket clip, some Gold plated hardware, and some Zircon buttons. The handle was anodized by my son in law. There is not a lot left to do to it. Maybe an S-125-V blade.

That's excellent. I'm jealous, hahaha

For small knives I recommend looking at Spyderco for one hand easy manipulation. The Dragonfly (G10, all stainless, or lightweight FRN). The G10 is my favorite, but I have 6, most lw's. I would also say look at the Manbug (very small), the Rhino, and, a crowd pleaser the Lil' Native.

The Lil' Native comes with choice of back lock and compression lock or slip joint.

Here is the Dragonfly G10. You have to hold one to appreciate how good it is in the hand.

Here is the Lil' Native back lock. This is a stout little cutter.

Both of these knives are within your size range and are easily opened and closed with one hand.

I got rid of my Dragonfly - very reluctantly - and other knives of that size that deploy with Spydie holes or thumb studs as I no longer have the dexterity in my hands to maneuver small knives. I can handle a good small flipper though and so they are still in my rotation. Me, a woodworker with limited hand dexterity  - good thing I have the experience to do work arounds. Some days much better than others but with my EDC I don't want to get stymied by a "one hand knife" that isn't at that moment, at least for me anymore. :(

OP, sounds like you have amassed a respectable collection already, how about some pictures? Might be easier to make a suggestion based on what you are missing in your knife stash.

Another vote for a Spiderco Dragonfly 2 with ZDP-189 steel. Completely one hand operational, with the choil can really get a good 4-finger grip and it can cut like nobody's business.

I will, but I'm in Brazil right now and I'll probably be here until January. The only knives that I brought with me are a MD/FF Gent and a Bastion Braza Bro miniIMG_20181023_213831.jpg

I don't want to sound rude, but I'm pretty sure that I already said that I have 3 Dragonfly's including a Dragonfly 2 zdp-189. I'm looking for good recommendations on mid-tech, semi-custom, custom, etc tiny folders like the Olamic Busker, the many different Quest 2.0's, the small Brad Zinker's, etc. Right now the Buskers seem like the way to go, but my curiosity for the Quest 2.0's are putting up a strong fight.

I still haven't decided between a Busker (probably custom build on their website) and a Quest Kwaiken 2.0 custom.

Anyway, I was looking on Knife Center and found these two.

Anyone have any opinions on this one?

I really like this tiny knife, especially the name Doohickey, hahaha. The name makes me think of an old song by Camp Lo, but I assume there aren't many people on this website that know Camp Lo

Why? Do folks that listen to hip hop music not need to cut stuff? I like Camp Lo, at least I did when Uptown Saturday Night dropped a ways back. Reminded me of a modernized version of the more laid back stuff I grooved on in the tail end of the early days of hip hop, Tribe and the like.

I still recommend the Busker, FWIW, but I'm an Olamic fan so I may be biased. IMO it's a fine little machine and all the options available from Olamic set it apart from most of the other knives discussed here, because you can pick one out that really speaks to you.
