No Wing or Group patch associated with my DLA tour, all elements all locations wore the same unit patches - DLA and DLA Flight Operations.

Absolutely! RED can mean anything or nothing to any given person. There could be “deeper” meaning like with me or it can simply be a favorite color.

Case Smooth Old Red Bone Mini Copperlock, with squadron patches.

Notes on patches: missing one squadron patch, missing the full-color patch from the 61st TAS, the 50th TAS patch went through three iterations during my assignment to that unit, two assignments had me move between squadrons (61st > 16th and 550th > 58th), and two assignment units did not have squadrons.
