Not everyone posting in this thread is a good guy or even have a dog in the fight. I was the last person to post something directly related to the recovery of my knife and a resolution to the issue (scam/theft).
 
Not that I know ove Coltrane, Tomorrow is the big day 49er is suppose to get the knives an email then may get some input.
 
May I suggest that if no one hears from him on Saturday, ALL of you email and /or call him on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday ... normally I don't like being antagonistic, but this has gone on way too long, with way too little communication.

He knows where BF is. A post a week is too much trouble? Start nagging him: good communication comes from both sides.
 
Still haven't heard anything. If I don't hear anything by wednesday I think i might have to go to the authorites for mail fraud. although i really have no idea how that works, or what to do. anyone ever had to deal with something like this before? it's been weeks since he's emailed me.

i just emailed him, and i will email him tomorrow and tuesday, and if i don't have anything by wednesday,then that's the day. especially because he said he would be getting them by saturday, and considering he lives in state if he shipped them saturday they should be at my house by then.

Go to www.usps.com and find the Postal Inspectors. Email them with the basic facts of the case, and ask them where you go from there.
 
FWIW I got a reply to an email early this a m saying he has my knife and will mail today and give Tracking# , we shall see . Esav thanks for the rational assistance in this thing regardless of the out come.

I don't know where you shipped your knife/knives, but will re-post the info I posted previously. . . . .

If you shipped your wears to Union, OH. . . .

I'm not sure if the Union PD will assist with cases involving goods shipped to TN. One, it's not their jurisdiction and two, it supposedly didn't involve screwthe49ers. It wouldn't hurt to ask the Union PD for their view.

I got the same promise at the same time, please post here if you get a valid tracking number and I will do the same.
 
Just got what look like good tracking #'s from 49er this a m will post results when and if package arrives.
 
I received a tracking number too. Email me at coletrane @ gmail dot com with your tracking numbers so we can compare them and make sure they're not the same one.

I'n in Canada, but I'm curious why people don't just post their tracking numbers. Is there a lot of information that you don't want others seeing. Our tracking info is pretty basic. Just curious.
