Yes, it looks like it should be a 2 pronged attack, I still say simultaneos to both P.D.'s Since it is a two state issue, you may want to ask both P.D.'s if they want to share/deal/correspond/coordinate with each others P.D.'s efforts to get the merchandise back. (If they are willing to do that of course). Good luck! If you guys involved can get all of your pictures, email correspondence with STFNers, bills of sale when you bought the knives, shipping forms/reciepts of when, who and where you sent them, copy and pasted onto one word doc. and then convert it to a PDF format (so the doc is smaller for email), you can then build a very big case that will get more attention. You can call your social group, "Unscrew the 49ers". The worst you could do is to do nothing.
Would it not at this point be an FBI issue (assuming it never gets resolved) since it took place in multiple states with the possible intention of transporting stolen goods and money across state lines?
Or will the FBI not investigate if the Postal Inspectors can handle the issue?
I'm just curious.
