I'll send you mine when I get it.So if anyone ordered 187 maybe they could trade the poor ol sheath maker one![]()
NP. I had both BB13's, and expected them to out-perform the 1311, but they just didn't. Close though. If the Reg. 12 performs like the DT-12's (looks like the exact same blade, just different handle), they should also be close to, but fall short of, the 1311 in chopping power. Better overall knife though.Thank you andSpyderPhreak for that firsthand information from your experiences. I'll take that any day over my speculation!
I'm really looking forward to hearing and hopefully seeing a number of you guys test this out and report back with some pics and results
I'll be comparing it to the AFBM and recent FBC and sharing some pics and videos of thefindingscarnage.
I would if I found someone that had a spare 1311, but I need my AR9.5 for sheath making even so I would think about it. the 1311 is awesome. All this 1311 talk has me thinking about selling/trading my AR 9.5” for one. Is that a good idea, or am I falling victim to…. The Treachery!!
Thank you sir! Much help with the grief of missing out. You're right...my DT12 should be sufficient.NP. I had both BB13's, and expected them to out-perform the 1311, but they just didn't. I would NEVER give up my AR9.5 for anything. Period. As much as I love the TGULB overall, for it being handy… the AR9.5 does … stuff … to wood I just can’t get over. It is a beast. All this 1311 talk has me thinking about selling/trading my AR 9.5” for one. Is that a good idea, or am I falling victim to…. The Treachery!!

Wait, were you the one I read about that ran over it with a riding lawn mower some years back? There was a whole thread about it and it was found across the road I think. It totally survived and showed how tough INFI was.I would NEVER give up my AR9.5 for anything. Period. The BB13 is my second most respected, even though it put my John Deere to shame.
ETA: I’m sure the 1311 is great. But me personally? I would not be willing to give up my AR9.5 to find out. It just isn’t worth it.

Too funny! But amazing story (and knife!) nonetheless! It's part of Busse lore now!
