Here's a short message after reading a lot of B.S!the only thing(s) i want to say is this:

PineChaos is NO "proxi buyer"!end of this story

Peckerwood,sorry,woodpecker did NOT give you all the info to make good judgement,he "forgot"to put in GBU a few mails with foul language from him to me,i DID send him a shipping adress TWICE to his Private Mail,trough PayPal and TWICE his e-mail!weird don't you think he NEVER got the shipping adress?from his behaviour i got "bad vibes",that's why i cancelled our transaction!

Craytab,you piss vinagar all over me,and PineChaos,but you,YES YOU should know better!last year you did sold me 2 times a knife and shipped it to a different adress than mine!and deffinately NOT to PineChaos!how do you say this,"what comes around goes around"?guess you are wearing a HALO above your head!
 
I'm not certain you are going to change a lot of hearts and minds with this (late) response...
 
The OP posted his side of the events and provided screenshots of the correspondence. From this, a US address was not provided until late in the game.

If there are holes in the story we'd all be happy to hear your side. Screenshots of the omitted messages would go over much better than an antagonistic response.

Dude, you did everything I said. By all means, show me where I am wrong. The proof is in the pudding.

And folks, if you look through his post history he has a history of flying off the handle like this. I hope the OPs retalitory negative feedback gets removed. I also hope anyone reading this will put this guy on ignore like I did long ago. No need to risk your reputation dealing with someone who starts multiple unwarranted negative threads and leave feedback against the rules. And before you do a deal with anyone, search their name in the GB&U. This is a perfect example of why doing so is very important, even more important than just looking at itrader.

Nah, besides the against the rules name calling, it is better he does this here so when people search his name they see how he handles things when the chips are down or he doesn't get his way. That is precisely what this place is for.

If he will join in on that thread and help get the neg FB removed it'll be a good start to polishing the tarnish off his rep.......but I doubt he will.

So you come on here call the op names then say he left stuff out ? Hrmmm so no proof of the left out emails your history shows you flying off the handle over and over. So where is your proof the op is lying let me guess you deleted them.

For clarification I would like to say that funds did not come from PineChaos and my interaction with him was only to confirm that the address was correct (once I had received the address) and that he was, indeed forwarding mail to Retired01.

I apologize for not initially removing your personal info in the screen shots. I was doing the photo editing at work and was in a rush and should have just waited until the next day to post. Once the mods contacted me I let them know that I would remove the info a.s.a.p. but as I only have access to software at work it took a few days. As you can see, I have reposted the screen shots with personal info removed.

I do forward knives to Rob (Retired01) in the Netherlands quite often. He has never tried to "trick" anyone here and his intentions are pure.
Any small discrepancy between him and the OP is none of my business. I try my best not to interfere with matters between other members and decide whether to deal with them based on my insight and communication with them, but to each his own.

Since I was grudgingly brought into this thread, I feel it necessary to share my experience with Tyler (Thewoodpecker). Before this thread was created I had no notable communications with Tyler. Upon reviewing the pictures he posted here, I noticed that he took the time blur out his own personal information, but felt no need to uphold my privacy, leaving my name and address unfiltered. For two days the moderators sent him multiple messages requesting he take my information down, but it remained until I filed a report with photobucket, who gladly took it down minutes later.


Personally I expect better of Bladeforums members. The vast majority of members I've dealt with here on this forum have been honorable, decent people who operate without unnecessary drama. In very poor taste it is to defame people when you've had no personal experience with them whatsoever.

I will just say this as I had a recent transaction with Retired01.

He purchased a knife from me and had excellent communication. Paid promptly and asked before the purchase if I would ship to Pine as I didn't want to ship out of CONUS.

Retired paid/purchased the knife and I shipped it to Pine who mailed it to him then.

No problems with either. In my dealing it was a friend helping a friend and certainly no "proxy" buying.
 
This retired guy was put on my ignore list long ago. He has a history of irrational behavior and not worth the risk dealing with. I really don't have an issue either way with someone in the US helping an international friend out, in a lot of cases this makes it easier for both parties. But, even with a middle man.........this retired guy is someone to avoid.

Exactly. It is not the whole proxy situation that is the problem. It is the guy at the end of the line.
