Rick Menefee Knives...

Nice one Charles. I have not seen handles like this on a Menefee before. Bone or antler ? Do you know if Rick has a name for this pattern ?

I had the fortune to examine Charles newest acquistion in the flesh. Really nice level of fit / finish.

Rick did this one in stag and he called it a first, but I did not hear him call it by a specific name. I also had the chance to visit his shop which was a real treat for me.

You guys who live near enough to visit Ricky are lucky dudes. I'd love to be able to visit the Menefee homestead, bring my daughter and chat with Rick & his girls. And maybe look at knives too, but it's Rick i would really like to have the pleasure of meeting.

Here's a couple fresh of Rick's bench, Swayback with Sheepfoot and Elephant Ivory
Coke bottle with Sheepsfoot and African Blackwood, both are 4" closed. One of these will be going to
the BLADE show. Two great looking slip joints...

Super, super nice. Great profile for the Clip blade, and very nice ivory, exceptionally nice, really. As an admirer of Rick, and a lover of Traditional folders, with an absolute passion for the best ivory, this knife really should come to me.
But, as far as i know, it's not, but i do love surprises Ricky. Ya never know, eh ?

That Ivory Trapper is a beauty. I can see it in Roland's dreamscape!!:D
And the Sheepfoot knives are just plain outstanding. Nice work Rick.
