Thanks, Gus. How was the Red River Gorge?
Hey Gus,
Just wanted to thank you again for the Stainless cup. I love that thing man.
I've been using a double walled titanium one for about 5 months before I got this one, now I have used this one for a month straight. It keeps stuff super cold or hot and this one fit's in my cup holder in the Jeep.
Use it everyday man!
WE ended up going seven hours north of here looking for new cliffs. Found a crag that's about two kilometers long and about 100 metres tall. Very psyched.
I'll post some pics.
No need to thank me - I just wish I could have brought more! I'm just glad you like it. Innate (the company makes it) produces some nice products.
Very nice running Guyon!!
It says the best time was 20:22... Damn you was right behind first place, thats awesome.
Reminds me, you and me need to get together on some things...
Yeah, the other dude in the pic ran just behind me for about a mile and then passed me at about the 2.5-mile mark. With 100 yards to go and with him about 30 yards in front of me, I kicked hard and passed him right before the finish. He groaned, "awwwwww shit" just as I passed him. It was most satisfying.
GSOM, I don't think I handled it. But I'm Bark River Immune.
They've got some good profiles which have informed some of my own designs to some extent, but I find they tend to be a bit blocky in the hand. The Other Stuff I'll keep quiet about.
I am bored and havent been on here in forever. I am thinking about trading my BK9 for a BK15, thoughts? I already have a 2 and the 2 does everything the 9 does.
I'm quite aware "sins of the father" and all that, but Jim started designing and making some DAMN fine blades. Plus when I was sitting in Mike's office with AIG he was exceptionally courteous. Mind you I have only met him once, and only talked to him a few times. But I now have 2 Bark River knives and they are both exceptional knives. On a side note: I can't stand Bark River. I Will never own another one of their knives again. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
That is awesome! Congratulations on doing it, and finishing so quick! Only time I run is a guy behind me with a gun or a pigskin in my hands!Yeah, the other dude in the pic ran just behind me for about a mile and then passed me at about the 2.5-mile mark. Pretty sure my time is around 9 minutes a mile! Mind you my knees are shot too so it's mostly walking pace. But that pace doesn't waiver if I'm just me or a 30 pound ruck on my back. LOL!Yeah, me and running ain't friends. Mainly because my knees are shotSpeed walking is more my thing now lol. My best time for a 2 mile was around 15min heh Fastest guy that was in my training group could do it in 9 flat, funny thing because he was a chain smoker lol.
It's been touchy for me too. Kind of annoying but whatever.Couldn't get on here for a spell.
Personally I wouldn't make that trade. I prefer my 9for wood work, and my 2 as a camp knife. However I need to get a new 2 since mine underwent surgery.I am bored and havent been on here in forever.
