You mean this pic?

Yeah, the other dude in the pic ran just behind me for about a mile and then passed me at about the 2.5-mile mark. With 100 yards to go and with him about 30 yards in front of me, I kicked hard and passed him right before the finish. He groaned, "awwwwww shit" just as I passed him. It was most satisfying.

Hey Gus,

Just wanted to thank you again for the Stainless cup. I love that thing man.

I've been using a double walled titanium one for about 5 months before I got this one, now I have used this one for a month straight. It keeps stuff super cold or hot and this one fit's in my cup holder in the Jeep.

Use it everyday man!

Very nice running Guyon!!

It says the best time was 20:22... Damn you was right behind first place, thats awesome.

I ran a 5K in South Korea -ONCE- but they had people handing beer to the runners... My time wasnt as good LMAO

In the army i could max pushups and situps. But the run.... Man i HATED the run. My best 2 mile time was a 13:42. And i trained hard trying to get my best time. There were times when i first joined i barely passed the run. And i was always a skinny guy but still running and me just dont get along LMAO In fact i only did the 5K in Korea to get out of some other thing id have to do.... And because i was told there would be free beer HAHAHA

Anyway great job. Im tired from the pictures. :D

Thanks, Gus. How was the Red River Gorge?

WE ended up going seven hours north of here looking for new cliffs. Found a crag that's about two kilometers long and about 100 metres tall. Very psyched.

I'll post some pics.

No need to thank me - I just wish I could have brought more! I'm just glad you like it. Innate (the company makes it) produces some nice products.

Yeah, me and running ain't friends. Mainly because my knees are shot :( Speed walking is more my thing now lol. My best time for a 2 mile was around 15min heh Fastest guy that was in my training group could do it in 9 flat, funny thing because he was a chain smoker lol.

Reminds me, you and me need to get together on some things...

Third overall. First place in the old fart (Masters) category.

GSOM, I don't think I handled it. But I'm Bark River Immune.
They've got some good profiles which have informed some of my own designs to some extent, but I find they tend to be a bit blocky in the hand. The Other Stuff I'll keep quiet about.

Congrats on going orange WW.

Tradewater, did you end up going camping?

Haha - That's great!

I believe the little lady is signing us up for a 5K in early December and we hope to run the Indianapolis 500 festival mini marathon next year...... Hope is they key word there.

I got mine second hand, and it's the sharpest knife I own - except for my birudashi. I'm pretty sure Dex said the same thing (aside from the biru part) some time ago. I understand the whole Other Stuff stuff, but I could give a rat's ass. It's a nice knife, IMO. Looks good and works even better. One of the nicer thumb ramps I've handled.

P.S. BF is acting up a LOT...posted this some time ago and had to use the "Restore Auto-Saved Content" to get it back.

I am bored and havent been on here in forever. I am thinking about trading my BK9 for a BK15, thoughts? I already have a 2 and the 2 does everything the 9 does.

My thought?
Keep the 9 and buy a 15...:D

Nice to see ya back!

On a side note: I can't stand Bark River. I Will never own another one of their knives again. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
I'm quite aware "sins of the father" and all that, but Jim started designing and making some DAMN fine blades. Plus when I was sitting in Mike's office with AIG he was exceptionally courteous. Mind you I have only met him once, and only talked to him a few times. But I now have 2 Bark River knives and they are both exceptional knives.

That is awesome! Congratulations on doing it, and finishing so quick! Only time I run is a guy behind me with a gun or a pigskin in my hands!

Pretty sure my time is around 9 minutes a mile! Mind you my knees are shot too so it's mostly walking pace. But that pace doesn't waiver if I'm just me or a 30 pound ruck on my back. LOL!

Couldn't get on here for a spell.
It's been touchy for me too. Kind of annoying but whatever.

Personally I wouldn't make that trade. I prefer my 9for wood work, and my 2 as a camp knife. However I need to get a new 2 since mine underwent surgery.
