Posted this picture on FB and had over 30 messages in a matter of a couple hours. I had to start asking for a 5 dollar deposit just to get an accurate list of who really wanted them. In less than 18 hours i had deposits for all of the ones im selling except the 2 im keeping...... And 2 i saved to offer up here. ;) I got people asking me to run a 2nd batch too. I really like the design personally but i was amazed at the response it got. Some people way more talented than me wants something im creating, and are willing to PAY for it???... Thats just an amazing feeling.

not bad, not bad at all?

The Brute doesn't do it for me. I did order a Ontario SP5 though. Should have that on Saturday.

Truth be told, I'm pretty sure the Junglas is a WAY better knife....but I just, I don't know, had to get it. I also like the looks of the BRKT Bravo 3. That thing looks like a beast, though at twice the $$ of the Junglas it'll have to wait until I have a LOT more money. So....never.

I think I'll wait for the Bravo 5.

I've read that it will come with its own hoist.

But seriously, the Bravo-3 looks pretty great, and BRKT has done a good job on that blade shape theme all the way up the line. Actually I think there are TOO many choices, but they all look good. I like the big and little ones best. the ones in the middle don't do it for me.

The Bravo 3 looks very nice. But if I'm going to be spending over $300 on a big knife... Its not going to be a production blade. I'd rather hit up one of our local makers for something.

ww, I had my doubts about you when you first showed up here, but damned if you haven't grown on me and a whole bunch of other folks. Nice job, sir.

I love that scene. First, the sumbitch fills up that huge vehicle for $4.99. And the old man dancing reminds me that I best dance when I can. Might not get another chance.
Best, lines: "Who's pickin' a banjer here?" and "Give him a couple bucks."

Ain't had time for much snarkage lately. Work's been kicking my ass. Up, down, and sideways. I still post more than Moose though.

Moose who?

Just drank the last Busted Knuckle Ale Todd gave me. Quaff on! I've been doling those out real gradual like. I did get up to Louisville recently though, so I'm well stocked on Bourbon Barrel Stout. I am still jealous of Murph's new growler.

I hate a thief. I got in on a hunt lease this year. We put out two ladder stands a couple of weekends ago, and this weekend, we found out they were stolen. I have two stands over on a piece of property across the road, and so now, I get to wonder how long they're going to last. Mine were still there yesterday, and I chained hell out of them, but it won't stop somebody who's determined. Especially with the portable grinders, saws, etc. that are available today. If my stands are still there later this week, I'm going to put a sign on each one that says, "Smile. You're on Candid Camera." At least the vermin will have to beat the bushes for a while to look for cameras. Thieves suck. That is all.

Oh yeah, check out pic #62: http://www.al.com/news/beaches/index.ssf/2014/10/shrimp_fest_10k_5k_run.html

My wife has recently told me she has never seen the movie.... she must be educated.

WorldWood: Congrats buddy on Going Orange! I am happy for you man. Those little hawks look bad ass. Let me know when you do a second batch and I'll get one from you.

Todd: Those two videos had me laughing my ass off. Funny stuff man. Thanks for sharing that. lol And Damn Murph spilled that oil all over the place. haha

All you guy's who said nice things about me and my business:

Thank you so much. It really feels good to know that people are happy with my services. I do try to offer the best experience that I can. It is super hard to compete with the huge online retailers and I totally understand that most people are all about the cheapest bottom line price. And that's ok, I really wish I could match some of those prices but It just isn't possible. I still have not made a penny yet, lol, but I am having a blast getting awesome knives and gear into peoples hands. Especially when people buy the stuff I make. Feels awesome.

Hopefully once my name get's out there this will all start to pay off and I will truly be living the dream. I mean if your gonna sell stuff, sell cool stuff right? haha. I would hate to be shipping out boring products all day (like printer ink or something). I get a slight rush every time I ship out a new knife! Just knowing someone will be enjoying it and are buying it cause they want it, not because they need it. :D

It's like when I used to sell Motorcycles, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, and jet ski's.............. those guys were in there cause they wanted a new toy, not because they needed it. Fun to talk about that kind of stuff all day. Unlike the car lots where lots of the people there are pissed off cause their car just broke and they are just there cause they need a new one so they can get to work in the morning.

Much more fun selling and making stuff that is exciting to both myself and the customer.

Thank you guys for supporting me. Really means a lot.

Tradewater: I have been looking into the Parkerizing. Very cool stuff indeed! Gonna try and score a bead blaster when I head back home at the end of Nov. Can't wait to get this service up and running! Goodbye forever vinegar patina's!

Also, I may start doing weekly or bi-monthly orders for you guys if any of y'all are interested? I can get almost any products that the large knife and sporting goods stores have.
Should be able to offer some pretty good deals too since I would't be sitting on inventory. Just get it in and ship right out.

Let me know if any one would be interested in something like that? Just an idea I had. We will see how it goes. Kinda just brainstorming at the moment.

On a side note: I can't stand Bark River. I Will never own another one of their knives again. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

My wife has recently told me she has never seen the movie.... she must be educated.
