Off topic Rocky story

I was slicing some thick/heavy straps yesterday, and accidentally cut myself three times with my Chi:D I was loading up 400+ lbs of propane tanks and trying to secure them to my truck via chains and tie-downs.

I was bleeding everywhere and I just kept on workin':D The guy at the gas plant was looking at me sideways and kept saying "Bro, let me get you some napkins!"; I refused his offer since I was in a huge rush.

All three times, I cut myself with the extremely sharp (and pointy) tanto tip. The tip is so pointy and sharp, you don't even feel yourself get cut. All you feel is the warmth of your own blood, and then realize "Oh s**t!":eek:

Moral of the story: be careful with those Rocky's folks!!! Never cut things with a Rockstead when you are in a rush!

Anyone interested in a new KOU should pick one up soon. Rockstead is discontinuing production.
 
Hey bluesbender, or anyone with a Higo. Can u confirm it Its possible to Open the Higo like a front flipper and make a video doing this? I know that you can Open the knife with the tip thats visible when the knife is closed. But with enough Power it might be possible to Open the knife like a flipper.

You can open it that way, but it won't flip like a flipper. It will just pop out only about 25% of the way. It's actually similar to a Sebenza, since those have a tang/spine that sticks out the same way.

This applies to my Higo-X, the Duralumin Higo's may be different.
 
I see. I cant remember if i tried this with my Higo. I might want to buy a flipper and if the higos flipp then i might buy one again. Would love to se someone try flipp it and succed.
