commenters with the immediate disposition that rockstead wouldn't do that ...must be a fake ect....
The whole thing IS your fault after all Blues Bender, you had to go showing off those pretty blades until I bought one! haha
I was going to "retry" with a Shin, but im concerned with the rayskin, I dont know if Id like it....
If you have time ....what type of issues with the Shun?
Yes, the spine looked like that. to bad we cant adjust the contrast on that pic so It would show all of the drilled and threaded holes inside the handle....that was strange to say the least but probably used for machining the handle in a jig...
There were threaded holes with no screws in them basically? That's odd.
For comparison, my Higo and Chi interiors look nice and clean.
Well Purp, it looked cast or stamped. "Obviously" I could be wrong and more than likely was CNC'd and and that part of the blade was left with a ridge on it. probably not acceptable to some who spend that kinda money on a knife, nor would the 6-8 drilled and tapped holes inside the handle without screws ....I was simply describing what it looked like.
...."You should be happy as I didnt call you out by name." ..............PLEASE! give it break!
Have any leg hair left? 'Member what I told you in my thread when yours shut down....
And btw, ray skin is very, very good stuff. Extremely tough and durable. I have wallets, knives and all kinds of personal items utilizing it. Great handle wrap or covering.
I know, and its always the SAME people who show up time and time again to antagonize and stir poop.
Anyone wanna talk about Rocky's? As of lately, my Chi is still a personal favorite. There is so much to love about that beautiful Shinogizukuri Tanto grindI really wish there were more Tanto'd knives with grinds like this! There is enough belly to slice cleanly and a pointy enough tip for fine work, not to mention the facet-like beauty of the grind.
