I use PayPal to actually send money to family and friends ALOT. Way easier to use then sending to bank or cash. Would be a bummer if they didn't offer it as option anymore.

But I can't believe how many people send it blindly to people they barely know. It's a gamble. Pure and simple.

Yes, it would be sad to see it discontinued for the people that use it as intended because of others abusing the PayPal system
 
Sorry for your loss OP, definitely a bummer. I do hope it works out somehow for you, and you've learned a (rather harsh) lesson about buying from people with unknown integrity. This guy is in the Emerson groups on fb too, and he's active. He just commented on a GAW thread with an "in", just a heads up if anyone of you are in the groups. A quick search of the mentioned knife will tell you all you need to know about who this is, I'd avoid dealing with him until an explanation is given and the situation resolved.

He does have a IG profile, but is apparently not very active whatsoever on it, one and only post being from 2015. I'm quite active on IG and have never seen a sale post from that account. Great work on Lone_Wolfe's part as well. Definitely will be blocking this guy on everything.

Man, I cannot get over this after sleep. I mean I've been dealing with a lot scammers on this forum. One of them offers me a M-tech knife for my ZT knives. While the other one pushes me to exchange my collection with his John Doe knife. There are even worse, a $100 range piece trade offer for my $500 one.
Bouchebags like that are not collecting a hobby but other people's collection.
It's understood that BF can do nothing about any of these. Still one thing I know is that all these scammers and A-holes deserve one place to go and it's your black/ ignore list.
