RR-Cutlery problem

Hello BF members,

To start with, I did my homework as suggested by another member. I do not need anyone here or elsewhere to tell me how to conduct MY business. There is not one maker out there that I have dealt with that can say I did not honor any deal we have made.

I'm also not going to apologize for not being next to my computer to answer the 6 emails that Rashid Lucky (AKA whomever's name he wants to use on any given day) asking me to end my thread. The knife did get here today and was signed for by my wife in my absence. If he forges his own steel and makes all the knives he posts for sale I should thank him for going to Pakistan to make a knife for me. I tracked his shipment and I'm amazed that for some reason it went from Idaho to Pakistan, back to Idaho and then to AZ. In one of his emails he stated that he left negative feedback for me. That's fine. In one of his emails he also stated that I ruined him. I explained to him that if that is the case he should sue me. Unfortunately, my attorney fees don't include travel to Pakistan. I stand firm by my post and will not withdraw it as he has asked me to several times in his emails. A liar and thief is a liar and thief any way you look at it.

And to you Mr. Lucky, please send a call tag to pick up this piece of crap. You might as well, you're not getting paid for it.

Lastly, Mr. Lucky, I caution you to be very careful of what you say about Bill Akers of Backwoods. You're barking up the wrong tree. Change your name.....your luck has ran out!

Thank you all,

Tony Palmieri

Like I said,He would be the upmost straight fwd person you could ever deal with,And if he don't like the product who's ever it may be, He will tell them about it,Not just you!.,The man knows his knives,Not only mine ,But many others here on this forum.Aswell he has spent thousands with me alone. Call me out again MR.LUCKY. It really shows integrity threatning a buyer in emails , Wise move.
Thanks Tony for your straight fwd response,And clearing this matter up for us.Im sure there was no one twisting your arm to point these facts out to us.
Bests,Bill

I don't even know where to start with your post.

Was it your intention to purchase and keep the knife or just cause drama?

since there are 2 knives here in the states and 1 is coming to me, rr cutlery, would you mind if the knife bones555 is sent to me so i have 2 knives to test? if you have nothing to worry about then you should not mind. i will only test how well the knife bones555 takes and holds an edge and rockwell test it behind the kick where it is flat. then if you want the knife back, i can send it to idaho if you pay shipping.

I bought the knife to give to my grandson. Your backing up this guy makes no sense. If you would like to ban me for stating 100% true facts...go for it. I have every email between us which clearly backs up every word I posted. Thank you for your support.

I'm not backing anyone up.

First you made post where it didn't belong, not only that you said as much in the post. That creates work for me. It also started all this drama again. You didn't expose anything that wasn't already known and/or discussed. I asked the question because you said last night You had stopped the payment. That's just a little gun shy. Now today the next day you receive the knife and say you're not going to return it.

Please send me your shipping address. I can be reached at tonyp555@centurylink.net. Your tests will put an end to this matter. Thanks.

Show me where I said I wasn't going to return it. I asked him to send a call tag to pick it up. Does that sound like a refusal to return it?

Sorry I misconstrued you saying you're not getting paid for it as you're not going to return it. What about the rest of my post?

I was promised a tracking number. Never happened after several emails. He told me he was in the hospital with his wife who was in for brain surgery (I have the email) and within 2 hours he was posting knives for sale. Give me a break. You call that gun shy? Would you be hawking knives or would you be with your wife?

I called it gun shy when you complained and canceled the transaction with your credit card when the knife did not arrive in five days.

A much better way to handle this without seven pages of drama would have just been to contact him privately and ask what the status is. Clearly he must've shipped when he said he was as you got it in a timely fashion.

You're not going to send the knife to Richard correct?

I Have A Couple Of New People Who I Will Be Adding To my "Ignore List." The Audacity That Certain BF Members Display Here On The GBU Forum, Simply Put: Is Nauseating! It's Easy To Become Impatient Waiting For A Knife To Arrive...But 5 Days, & You Resort To Posting A Big Ugly Thread In GBU...

The phrase 'patience is a virtue' simply means that the ability to wait for something or someone without being angry or upset is a good and valuable quality. This phrase has been traced back to William Langland in the year 1377 and it is also associated with the Latin saying 'patience is the greatest virtue.'

6 private emails. Does that meet your standards? You failed to answer my question about "where would you be".

I didn't fail to answer you at all. I chose not to as a rather not delve into what was said between you two in private.

You posted that it should have been handled with private emails. Now you don't want to delve into our private emails? Please make up your mind.

That's right the entire thing should've been handled privately, you chose for that not to happen.

I don't know what was said between you two privately. I'm discussing only the things that have been said here openly.

This thread derailed in a strange way. It did nothing new to expose RR (although I could see it leading to a change in his status). I knew from the get I would never do business with him, and I know others knew that as well. What this thread did do was expose some unbecoming traits in several other members and makers here, from premature escalation to towel head jokes to odd warnings and threats.

What I know is that you bought a knife. Paid for the knife. The knife was supposed to arrive in five days. It arrived in six. Before the sixth day you called your credit card and canceled the payment.

I find so much of this entire issue disturbing. From members and knifemakers acting harshly and posting questionable material to moderators knowingly allowing someone to conduct dishonest business and deceive forum contributors. I've only been a member for a few months, but this has opened my eyes to the definite need for caution when purchasing here.

Perhaps it all truly could have been handled differently, or it could have been totally avoided if the seller in question had been taken care of before this current "issue".

Feel free to post how I knowingly allowed someone to conduct dishonest business here.
