RR-Cutlery problem

If a manufacturer is found to be using less than the latest supersteel, will he be allowed to sell here on his manufacturer forum?

I'm sorry but this response seems intentionally passive aggressive. RR-Cutlery has claimed to use 1095 in this thread. No super steels were mentioned by anyone until now. Let me be more broad.

If it is shown that a maker posts false information about their products will they be allowed to continue selling their products on the forum?

If it is shown that a maker posts false information about their products, will Bladeforums force anyone to buy them? That's the whole idea behind the FEEDBACK forum: here's our experience, learn from it.

OK, so everyone knows this guy is not making the knives he claims. He is wholesaling them from Pakistan - yet has a knifemaker membership. I mean really, he even proves himself wrong with his own website posts. The point is not about whether his knives are junk or good. It is about false representation. Should anyone be allowed to sell crappy handmade knives that they make one at a time in the good old USA on this forum. Sure, if someone here wants to buy junk that is their right..
Should RR be alllowed to falsely missrepresent his maker status and knives here? Should people knowingly turn their heads? Guess that seems to be the question.
One I am very curious to see how this part turns out.

I can see how this would make most real makers very upset.

So it is straight up caveat emptor? Even if shown to be fraudulent? What about rule #3 in section #2 of the rules-

Be honest and provide an accurate & detailed description of the item. Don't forget to mention defects, blemishes, new, used, or other problems. When in doubt, be pessimistic with your descriptions.

Does it not apply to makers and dealers? I'm not trying to be difficult but the elephant in the forum is that while circumstantial at this point it is obvious what RR-Cutlery is and isn't and it seems like the forum staff are ignoring it. If the products and distribution were honestly listed and described I doubt members would take issue with the situation. But as it stands now that's not the case, we all "know" what RR-Cutlery is but they are allowed to continue this charade.

I Posted With Every Item What I Used In The Material So What's Wrong With That ? Ya'll Can't See the Email Pic That I Shared That The Man Who Bought Knife Clearly Giving Me A Warning That If You Speak Badly about Me On BF So It Willn't Good For U . What About That ? No One Can See This ?

In 2 Months I Sold 11 Knives On BF And Maybe I Won't Sell More Here But I Heared Alot About BF But Just Bcz Of A Few People See What People Think About This Website So Plz Guyz Be Good With Others cats.jpg

Ok Ya'll Saying My Quality Is Bad And I Make Junk Knives And I Am A Pakistani Fraud So All The People That I Have On My Customers List Are American So Are They Mad And Buy Again And Again From Me ? The Difference Is That Here On BF People Don't Think And Just Open The Mouth Againest Anyone . I Saw The People Don't Know Me And Judge Me The People Don't Bought Any Knife And Saying I Make Junk Knives.

I have been following and I agree.

The issue should not be whether the stuff he sells is junk or not.

The issue should be is he misrepresenting the stuff he sells. If he says it's 1095 knowing it's not 1095, that deserves a ban IMHO

If he says he "makes" the knives and he is simply reselling them, again, that deserves a ban (or change his membership to dealer)

As for the original poster, you need to either send the knife back or pay the man, that should not be debatable. You ordered something and are dissatisfied and have not paid for it Either return the knife or pay for it and prove that it is not what it was described as.

He is clearly not an individual knifemaker. I alerted mods a long time ago but I got no response.

I kinda feel like the noobs that don't know any better have to learn their lesson somehow, whether it's from buying one of these paki knives or some mall ninja Mantis crap, it's gonna happen. I have no care about that. If they buy that type of stuff without researching a bit then they get what they get. I guess the real knife makers are just resentful that your stuff is sold in the same forum as yours, so they're product is diminished as a result.

I personally feel that it degrades the forum itself. When I see a posting in makers for sale, either fixed blade or folder, I do not understand for the life of me, why his posting should not be in the dealer section.

Ofcourse He Already Stopped Payment So He Can Keep The Payment And Send Me Knife Back To Me And The End .

Yes, you're probably right about that. That makes sense to me. I wasn't really thinking in terms of him being a middle-man in the selling structure.

So You Trying To Say I Am Not a Maker ? My Question Is How You Can Say It ? You Have Any Proof that I am Not a Maker ? Why U Say Something Without Cofirm ?

Several people have asked you to provide a video or some other sort of evidence that you are making these yourself but you only turn it around and tell them to prove you are not a maker. Which doesn't seem to help your cause much here. IF you can post a video proving your knife making abilities it would shut everyone up and end this debate indefinitely. I don't think that is asking to much personally specially if you want to regain any reputation here.

RR-Cutlery is a dealer and it was already addressed that he will either upgrade his membership or not be a member here anymore. End of discussion. No further mentioning whether his dealer or not a maker.

He has made no objection to upgrading to dealer.

Sir,
The proof is on your own website, in your posts, in the pictures of the knives your offering for sale. You may well be a capable knifemaker able to make a knife from start to finish. However the knives that I see your posting in the makers section , with all the evidence of tracking, emails ,postings by folks that have purchased from you, pictures, are knives that should be posted in the dealer section.

I was typing this as Rycen was posting, please advise, I will edit out my comments if needed.

I asked for an address. The knife in question has not been sent to anyone. There is, by no means, anything twisted. The knife is sitting here waiting for a call tag to be returned. I have every email that was sent between myself and RR. I suggest you get the facts before you pass judgment. I have no problem posting the emails here. Back off and let it be behind us.

YOU GOT THE KNIFE! Has the thought even occurred to you, that maybe you owe CC a public apology on this thread? The entire premise of your post, was to trash CC for a package that had not arrived in 5 days; the bottom line, is that it arrived in 6. Now, you are complaining about the quality of CC's knives, that you chose to buy!

Are you just too proud to fully comprehend, that it was YOUR actions, that started everything here? That fact that you choose not to accept any responsibility in this matter, makes me question your integrity, a lot more than CC's over this issue.

I'm clicking on settings now; I have much more important things to do with my life, than read any more of this pathetic trash talking. This thread has become redundant, & the drama that you feel the need to keep going, is getting old. Best of luck, bones555, & here is a little free advice for you: next time, make an informed, intelligent decision, BEFORE you purchase another knife!

I Gave A Link That I Am Making A Folder And U Can See It On My Facebook Page Under " Videos " But Just Bcz Of Not Taking Someone's Much Time I Said I Will Upgrade My Membership As A Dealer . Last Time I Am Saying I Am A Knife Maker And If A Moderator Says I Will Change My Membership If Anyone Else Want To Get Prove That I Am A Knife Maker Or Not So Ask Me What U Want And I Will Show U Everyting .

Sir, I Can Show U The emails And I Told Him Also About It That My Wife Is In Hospital And I Am Here In Hospital But As Prommised U Will Get Ur Knife In 4 To 5 Days . He Bought A Knife Without Sheath But I Still Made A Sheath And Sent Him And He Still Got His Knife In 6 Days But I Don't Know why He Just Opened The Thread .

Thank you! You have my praise . And being a Dealer he posts in the dealer section only,And not the INDIVIDUAL makers Fixed or Folder section correct?
