I have to thank you for taking the time to answer my telephone call, it is
truelly appreciated.
The Guardfather I have bought from Ruddy is really not locking in the
"extended" position when fired, one has to pull the spike out for an
additional 1/4" to get it locked.
You purchased that spike from someone in France on the secondary market and did not purchase that spike or any item from me.
You Mr. Bagheera
are a PUNK!!!
I purchased those spikes and the SWAT 2 bladed auto knives from a wholesaller that represented them as SWAT merchandise!! If they are not I can only say that a lot of honest retailers have been lied to.
I spent time with you to help you out. I offered you several solutions and you even acted as if it was my problem that you had to call me long distance to get this problem fixed and you did not even buy it from me!!
I don't know if it is even the one that I sold the other guy that sold it to you or what was done or how it was used iuntil you got it or for that matter what you have done with it.
The forums are a great place for all of us knife guys.... Bad place for guys like you that are dishonest and try to tarnish peoples reputations by not telling the truth.
I will expect to see an apologee in this thread from you very shortly.

Check your facts out b4 you disrespect someone that offers what hundreds of people in the knife community search and long for. I removed any mention of swat from the listing on my site. It was never intended to cause trouble. I purchased them from a distrubiter that sells them as swat gaurdfathers and they are not the only ones you can get them from. I did not make them or package them, I only buy them from legit dist.

Bagheera, If your not happy with your auto ice pick, I would return it to the person you bought it off of, Simple as that. If that person doesn't want to refund your money or undo the trade, then post HIS name here.
This seems simple to me, if you just got this auto spike, and its a POS, then why even deal with Paragon or SWAT?? Just go to the person you got it off of.

He actually never stated that he did buy it from you either. Just that you sold this knife as the real thing when it wasn't. He didn't lie about that. You should get to know your products better. It seems to me that if you are in the business of selling knives that you should know what are the real thing and what are knockoffs.

I spend $$ on the approx. 15 minute call to you and it was a good talk. You told me to send you an email as you would answer some questions even send me a copy of the "ïnvoice" that would show that the "Guardfather" was really a SWAT Guardfather even when I told you it couldn't be as they were only made in black color.
You would return my email you said, well to be sure I send you 2 emails one through your site's email response page with the copy of the post from this forum were you could read that SWAT Guardfathers only came in black, the second email was send from my personal account.
I waited to receive some kind of answer from you as you promissed to reply to me.
I went to bed and the next day when I still hadn't received anything I posted the post that you're mad about with my response.
You want an appology from me.... I think that the removing of the "SWAT Guardfather from Advanced Technologies....." text from your website tells me enough. If you had just send me an email as promissed I wouldn't even have posted the website address.
In the Netherlands the store selling a product is responsible for that product and not the manufacturer or the supplier of that product to the seller.
The fact is that I bought it from a forumite who bought it from you, I might mention that you immediately mentioned the name of the person who I bought the "SWAT Guardfather" from, not me, you seem to know him well and you told me he bought it perhaps a month or two earlier doesn't change the fact that he bought it from you thinking it was a "SWAT Guardfather".
He sold it to me as a "SWAT Guardfather" and that's not because he tried misleading me but because he bought this below standard copy of a "SWAT Guardfather" from you thinking it was an original.
I wonder why you didn't even bother answering one of my emails to you as promised, you knew my name and knew I was sending you an email within half an hour after our conversation? and promissed to reply to it.
If there is one thing positive it is that you changed the text on your website so that no more people buy the Paragon? automatic spike thinking they bought the original SWAT Guardfather.

I don't hold him reponsible, I learned my lesson.
TheBadGuy, when the article bought doen't function as it should and I think it's because of a problem caused by the design/quality I always try to contact the manufacturer. If I had had the SWAT Advanced Technolgies telephone number or that of Paragon from the start I would have contacted them without me ever posting here and I would have send it back to the factory to get it checked/fixed/replaced.
