+1Micarta in Green Linen would look pretty nice with the compression lock.
Where did you read this?Ive read that is is already in development, but any info regarding it has not yet been disclosed.
Comp lock sage? I might take one. Or two. Or five. I don't know how no one thought of this before.
Lots of people thought of it, but no one thinks sal will honor himself. If sal agrees to this however, I would definitely buy a couple
So far, locks have been paired with something at least resembling the handle of the original knife to have them. For the compression lock that could mean making it:If or when a Sage comes along with a compression lock I could see it having stainless steel scales. It wouldn't be my first choice, but look at all of the popular Spyderco models like the Endura, Delica and Police that have had them. Another possibility would be FRN for the same reason. It just seems appropriate that a Sage with a Spyderco designed lock would use a scale material that appears on so many of their other popular models. I could go for either of these even though neither would be my first choice. Anything would be better than yet another black G10 knife though. A Sage with a compression lock would be a special knife and there's nothing special about plain black G10.
