Savson Swords and Knives

24 days since I placed my order...still no knife, no replies, nothing =(
Hope he's doing ok though.

Initiate the chargeback process on your credit card with your CC company. I would rather wait 5-10 days for the credit to be placed back on my card than wait another month to receive possibly nothing from Savson.

MegatronBreaker, do you think it's been long enough for it to be a sufficient waiting period before I initiate the charge back process? I"m asking because I've never done this before...and what kind of documents/information should I have on-hand? Thanks!

If he hasn't responded to any of your emails, 24 days is plenty of time. I took this information from Moiman, and it worked for me:

I have initiated the chargeback process in an attempt to get my money back. My bank praised me for making copies of all my emails I sent to Savson along with the order confirmation email. The credit card rep told me I had brought everything I should have brought and as far as she can determine, I have a legitimate claim for a chargeback. What was disconcerting was while I was at the bank discussing my situation with the credit card rep, she was unable to access the Savson website. It could have been an incredible coincidence that the site was down at that time but I was able to access the site before I left my house and after I got home. Another thing she said was any merchant that accepts credit cards over the phone or internet needs to have a working phone number in order for banks to be able to directly contact them but when she tried to use the phone number Savson provided, no one answered the phone. I would think that if Randy was an honest merchant, he would quickly answer his phone when a bank attempts to call him. So far, my bank hasn't contacted me or credited my account but she said it may take awhile, especially if the merchant avoids contact.

If he gets too many chargebacks the credit card companies will shut down his account. That will mean that he won't be able to take payment by credit card and it will probably mean the end of his business. That should not be of any concern to those that he owes. It should however be of great concern to him.

I bought a knife from them about 8 months ago, they messed up my address and it took 2 weeks to arrive at my house. My shipping was refunded.

At this point he has my returned knife and my money. I have contacted the cc company and have started that process but I will file formal criminal charges if necessary. The knife in question is over $100 so it would be a FELONY!

I know he's not dead. He left me a message just last month, saying he has been sick. Said that he could ship my order if I still wanted it. I sent an email response back to him telling him that I wanted my order cancelled. This was after 3 weeks of him not responding to any of my previous emails, and after I started the chargeback process. So, no he's not dead and he's not in a coma. Sick? That's debatable... And I agree, it is no excuse for his poor level of customer service.

I ordered two knives from Savson Swords and Knives equalling $400 early October and after about 15 emails this past month I have yet to get a tracking number on my two items. Randy also charged my credit card the following day after I've ordered and probably doesn't even have them in stock because a month later and I'm still waiting for a mail delivery. I have already started a dispute to my credit card company and filed a complaint to the cincinatti ohio better business bureau and urge everyone annoyed by the lack of customer service to do so as well. If he has personal issues, He shouldn't be selling things he can't provide. Unlucky me, I have only recently read up on boards and bad reviews on Yahoo shopping on how unprofessional Savson Swords and Knives are and that they don't even let you call them if you have issues with an order and don't respond to a single email. I'm mad at Yahoo for sponsoring them. I get fired up thinking about how his business shouldn't even be online. Totally a thumbs down for Savson Swords and Knives, anyone with me lets try to get this site shut down.

I have been emailing yahoo to get his site shut down.

Here is the address: shopping-support@cc.yahoo-inc.com

I suggest everyone do the same, as well as file complaints at these sites:

http://www.ic3.gov/

http://www.usps.gov/websites/depart/inspect

http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/complaint.htm

http://welcome.bbb.org/

You can also email hate mail to Randy at admin@savsonswordsandknives.com and info@savsonswordsandknives.com just to brighten his day since he was so kind as to brighten ours.

There is no excuse for not posting a notice on his site, refunding peoples money, responding to emails, still taking orders and charging cards, etc.

I have been trying to get a reply from him for many months now, yet some others have got bs excuses from him since then...

Anyone close to his location at:
