All of this crap could have been avoided if you would have properly described the knife to begin with... used, carried and sharpened is not "like new" regardless of condition.

After reading your posts multiple times, I believe you still have the knife... you're to wrapped up in him admitting that he intentionally deceived you and not enough concern about the knife being stolen.
I think you sent an empty box because you were pissed about the condition of the knife and you feel this is a way of teaching him a lesson.
Personally it wouldn't bother me to see both of you removed from the site for creating all of this unnecessary drama.

I've offered to get with USPS etc.. I have already addressed the things that you're accusing me of not addressing. After I've said.. I don't have it, that's all that I can say. The only I can continue to do is show that his character isnt trustworthy.

How am I not credible? I have a perfect record here and no evidence, unlike the op, as to my character being anything other than decent.

Well I understand the moderator… I mean if I sent a knife to someone and they got in here saying I sent them some gas station super lighter, I’d set this place on fire with my outrage. You’ve sort of had an “oh well, you lied about the condition blah blah blah” attitude while the opposing party has basically flooded this thread with their emotional posts.
It isn’t proof but.. social intelligence and all..

Now, the only thing we have left besides evidence one way or the other is character. I'm trying to show that because I have already said I sent it. Why does that make me look bad?
The fact that he immediately agreed to you returning the knife and immediately refunded your money speaks alot to his character also. You want to ignore that part every time you speak ill o of his character.
I don't have a dog in this fight and frankly would avoid doing business with either of you, but based on what I have seen here, I'm slightly less impressed with you.
He didn't immediately refund it. He tried to say he didn't advertise it as new. Offered nothing.
I'm done here guys. This is childish and stupid. Either he has the knife, or someone at USPS took it and replaced it with something else. I've offered to pay him back and take care of it through USPS on my end, but then he threatens me in my inbox.
I say he should have read my last post.. the one where I said I would pay him back, before threatening me.
He never even asked for his money back before saying I scammed him. He's angry with me, not the other way around. I'm not going to help him at this point. I've spent way more time here defending myself than I should have had to.

Guys all I’m saying is I’ve been a member here for a long time without a hitch or complaint. He’s relatively new, do the math. Senior member for many many yrs no problems and 1 with less than a yr. Thanks for everyone backing whose backed me. Member since 2013 is all I’m saying. Speaks for itself
