Contact your credit card company, they may be able to help. If I remember correctly others have had some success with this when they used Friends and Family.

If he used a credit card. Most use a bank account for gift. Still, it never hurts to contact your bank.
Why people keep doing this I will never understand. You are just giving your money away! And he is still pulling the using other peoples paypal scam!
And folks, before you do business with anyone, search their screen name. Takes a couple of seconds. You would have seen the mess that followed this guy.

I would think that PayPal would be interested in someone fraudulently using another's account. Who has jurisdiction over credit card fraud? Isn't that a federal beef?

Wow. Paypal gift on a 6-800 $$ hawk?? Pp fees are like $3-4 per hundred or close to it. Crazy man.
Get to calling someone.

Good ole LAZYOTTER..... I just recently filed a Paypal dispute against someone else's Paypal account that Mr. Nick Reynolds was using to try to scam me out of 3 Spyderco knives he was selling for $260.... Paypal refunded my $260. LAZYOTTER is the absolute worst....
