SCAMMED out of Microtech on trade by lazy otter - Nick Reynolds, Richmond VA

Ok..Google Maps shows 203 Hull Street Road in Richmond as the Cauthorne Paper Company, so if you sent the Microtech THERE..and he got it..he's picked it up at Work. A phone call to the Company would give you an answer, whether or not he works there, that is. ;)

Of course, perhaps Lazy Otter could get on here and agree to fix this, too, you know, before people that kinda sorta know what they're doing start sniffin' a bit too close for comfort.

LO responded to my mistake as to what was implied in some of the posts. Look at the way he states he's not military. He makes it sound as if he doesn't even want to be associated with the military as if he's not too supportive (just my perception....we wouldn't want this jackass to go "postal" ..;-). Yet this whole deal is supposed to be about a donated, high end knife with the donator of said knife having switched the label (intact) to another box? In a pigs eye! Theft is theft!

He is history.

Thank you sir....

I have a feeling he will pop up on here again under another user name, or just on some other forum.

Thing is, the way he conducts himself won't change, regardless of the "user name" so it won't take long for him to be figured out.
This is a small community, people see patterns....

SeattleDude, I'd suggest adding his name to the thread title and 1st post so it will be right there for everyone to see and to know who not to deal with. Maybe his address too.

Yes. There is good news in all of this after all. =)

I am also a member of two big Microtech groups on Facebook and I shared this story there at the same time I posted it here.

Well something amazing happened! Anthony L. Marfione posted a comment on my post that he would like to help.
We got in touch and he asked me for my address and said that he wanted to ship me a replacement knife!
He wanted me to focus my energy on my daily life instead of using my energy to after the scammer.

How amazing is that? I absolutely had no words, but Thank you!

Anthony if you ever read this, I have a great respect for you as person. You have a big heart!

I am honored to have few of your knifes and you have a follower for life!

Today I get this pretty box delivered to me by UPS man!

It was shipped Overnight! I open it and inside is long sleeve Microtech t-shirt and BRAND NEW Socom Delta in Red with My Name engraved on it!
Socom Delta happens to be my absolute favorite knife from Microtech Knives.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

That's just unheard of. Wow. My hats off to the Microtech crew. I have one very nice Microtech knife I acquired 2nd hand, and this definitely causes me to look at their product and company differently. That's top notch, not just as a business, but as a human being.

This is a good idea.

Three cheers for the Mod squad!!!!!

In before the lock...................

Clearly LO acted dishonestly with intent, and then failed to fess up after he was caught. Good riddance.

He lives in a pretty high crime area so I'm sure KARMA will bite him in the ass soon.

Also, Microtech went up a few point in my book

Was 230 hull his mailing address. I want to mentally note the mailing address so that he doesn't appear elsewhere.
