Scrap Yard Knives Is Proud To Introduce Their Latest Model: "The Dirty Trick 12" Coming Sunday May 1, 2022 at 9:00pm Eastern

Here you are friend Super nice dude. I'd snatch the first one I see for a good price. Hell I might buy another one.

Think imma hold out for the inevitable cerakote run. I want the black/green urban camo one.

I don't know, I wouldn't quite agree that anything could really be considered 'inevitable' in the world of Busse. There's been a whole lot of 'Shoulda happent' that really didn't happen... the Folder comes to mind as the most noteworthy.

Touche.. I am really just going off of past offerings.

I guess a better thing to say is I HOPE they cerakote this thing. It's one of their worthiest competitors.

You can always send knives direct to Blown Deadline also, they can coat up to but not under the handle. Probably best doing this with INFI though, also try getting on the wait list with Becky.

I like the way Snardvark’s pics show off that .27” spine, an aspect that continues to draw my attention as I heft and handle my DT12. On a shorter, narrower blade, .27” looks “HOG” thick. On this blade it looks and feels perfectly correct—just one more feature that contributes to the overall success of the design and a great indicator of how much Busse’s design staff has learned over decades of building innovative knives.

Well said

I had no plans of trimming this tree today. But the DT12 arrived and I couldn’t resist.

The balance is perfect for chopping and making snap cuts. Very light and fast. It was a joy trimming this tree.
Oh and this thing came SHARP !
Props to the yard!

Thing is nice right? I do like the look of it with the coating as well. Good pics

These being part of a cerakote gaaanza offering in the future , would not surprise me. I have regretted not getting in on those gaanzas in the past. Particularly the AD6 camo cerakote. I won’t miss out on a DT12 gaanza!
Yeah, so I didn’t get more at launch as I wanted because I’m waiting for a Cerakote ganzaaa. Leaving myself room to expand, rather than saying I have WAY too many already to justify buying another. (That’s what happened with the TNT15 ganzaaa.)

So, I haven’t been around in a while. Life problems, e.g. Mom, just broke her foot the same way I did and is waiting on a surgery tomorrow morning.

Anyway, I missed out on the TNT and then bought 10 of the coated ones.

Best of luck to Mom with her surgery and recovery. Call me crazy, but maybe a TNT would make her feel better…

Glad to hear everything is OK with you, despite things not being great. I'd been trying to reach you via PM for a few months now and was beginning to wonder if something had happened, hope it all works out in the end for you.

Did you buy 10 of the coated TNT's or DT12? That's a pretty serious haul, even by MY STANDARDS, lol. That is saying something, either way, they are both great blades and two of my current favorites so you can't go wrong with either.

I might have to get these guys to cerakote my AR uppers, handguards, and lowers.. wanna make em fde.. not sure if the cerakote job would be more or less expensive than just buying new parts
