SDFK is Glorious

I just finished running them both through a few pieces of old 2x4’s I had laying around and they pretty much performed exactly the same given the fact that the primaries on both look to be the same height, but I could be wrong considering my Behemoth is a prototype.

Comfort wise, I’d say the SDFK handle is better, but not by much.
Weight is noticeable since the Behemoth looks to have an extra 4 3/4” of blade length, but once again it isn’t anything drastic.

I’d say stick with the SDFK if you’re looking for a solid camp knife for splitting wood and most likely sloppy food prep, but if you’re looking for a chopping, splitting machine that puts a stupid grin on your face, the Behemoth is that knife, or I’d wait for the LC to make it’s comeback.

This was just for shits and giggles.
I don’t have Miss Jo’s ninja-ness so it took two swings to split it.

I’ll attempt this with the SDFK when I find another golf ball or the baseball that grew legs and took off.
Used the SD to slice taters, onions and mince garlic for hobo potatoes last time I went camping. It was a tad chonky for the task.

Deep pockets are a good thing :)

I usually have a knife, my phone, my keys, my money clip and an edc flashlight minimum on me.
My brother in law looked at me one day and said, “You buy pants based on how many pockets they have, don’t you?”, I said, “Yes.”

Exactly.

I could never go back to simple five pocket jeans. I'm spoiled now.
