Shame on you Jim Adams

All I have learned from this thread is that I have another maker/company on a very, very short list compiled over 20+ years that I will never order a knife from no matter what.
 
Delwin costing you $250 in materials still does not equal the $400 you had from him for the 2 months until this thread.

Jim - Sounding like Charlie Sheen didn't serve you well (Not Winning,Duh)
Delwin - By being logged in and not answering a simple question (like CTS's) isn't serving you well. A simple Yes or No would suffice.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who got the Charlie sheen vibe. Lol

At the end of the day both exhausted any bit of feasible argument back and forth. It should have been a simple "sorry pal I font feel comfortable making this knife, I'm sure some one will do it for you, here is your money back."

Sorry, I am on the road driving. I can only read when I am at the red light.
He did not sent me anything yet nor reply any thing to me.
I am sorry for asking people to make a knife that is copied from others.
In future I will buy a knife which is on the maker's works.
 
That is bad news indeed. Thank you for the update. Failing an epihany of integrity on the part of Mr. Adams.
I think you may want to send that letter. You have to take steps to put a placehold for official action.

I really hope his business does well. He's obviously passionate about making knives. I hope both parties can get this resolved. That's as sincere as I'm getting. There's a lot of work to be done between Jim and Del, however. Good luck to both of 'em.

That's not sarcasm either.

I remember that thread too. I hope everyone knows this isn't an isolated incident. Even when Mr. Adams does deliver on a knife they seem to be sub par.

I hope Delwin gets his money back.

yea i love how 3 to 4 pages ago jim responded that he would make the refund happen and that was that , well its tue ( a week day) BANKS ARE OPEN JIM so where is the mans money???????????

thanks coop for posting that from another one of jims shame threads, people need to know this isnt a isolated incicdent. hopefully at some point bf will realize this is a vicous cycle and ban jim from doing buiness, i mean i get infractions for technical snaffus soooo i hope jim at least gets a warning :)

I think this will be the last straw, I really don't wish to do that to someone.
Give him till this Friday to see if he does sent. After that then maybe I will take action on him.
 
Well, I've added another nippleheaded moron to my ignore list, as a result of this thread. Not gonna say who, but he rhymes with Tim Madams.
 
I am doing the orlando fl gun and knife shows all of the time. yes I am a dealer and when I am at the shows I tell every one that is there about this site and how we have the best knife makers here. after reading this thread I am going to have to rethink about this site about tell them this is the place to have a custom knife made.
