Share a Whittler Pic

This is one of my favourite threads. More fantastic whittlers everyone. Thanks for showing them. What material are the scales on your Marbles sunburst?

Hello SK, the scales on that Marbles is micarta, the picture really doesn't pick up the great color unfortuneatley, thanks for asking.

Until this morning I didn't have any whittlers. I picked up about a dozen knives at my club's show this morning, three being whittlers. The Slim one at the top is a John Primble India Steel Works. The middle one is marked COLUMBIA CUTLERY CO. SHEFFIELD. Aside from it being made prior to 1891, I don't know anything about it. If any of you Sheffield collectors can help me out I would really appreciate it. Last one is marked Wards Made In U.S.A. It was probably made by Schrade.

I knew that knife when it was just a heap! Nice restoration, MM!!

More great looking whittlers everyone. Sorry rivit, not heard of or able to find a Columbia Cutlery Sheffield in my few sources. Not an exhaustive search by any means. Still a great looking knife. I like that slim Primble too. MM your Schrade looks real nice. What was it like before you worked your magic?

My first 'new' Boker slippie, and I must say that I am rather impressed with the fit and finish. It is one of their less expensive lines, but it is a pretty fine little knife.

Here's one I just picked up. You can almost see Hanson's sunfish on the main blade. Don't think I'll be doing much whittlin' tho. Mike

That's an oldie Mike, from me anyway :) 1996. I only made 3 whittlers durring my multiblade days. Not sure who did the engraving. Thanks for showing.

My new Ryuichi Kawamura Swell Center in Antique Green Bone. Knife is only 3/8" wide at its thickest point. Bone's edges pop in natural light with that old green/yellow color

Outstanding knife, sierra! The lines are really organic & exotic. Congratulations on that acquisition, and thanks for showing it here.

That's a beauty. I've admired it several times on the seller's website and wondered who would end up with it. I'm glad it was one of our own.

I have really admired Kawamura's work for some time, I hope to one day own one of his pieces. That's a wonderful whittler Sierra, thanks for sharing..
