I do not have special camera which do macro video as well, any regular video camera able to produce video I did. Simple because small size of sensor and small size of lenses which reduce focal distance a lot, so any video camera as well as any regular digital photo camera can do such video as well.

This one was made by simple average JVC five years old I think:

I do not think this is even Macro, just 5-10" distance - any camera should be able to handle this.

Thanks, Vassili.

I don't have a video camera I'm using the video option on the camera I take pictures with.

Finally found the macro setting on my camara and it works better than I thought.

It was April last year. Usually macro does work same for photo and for video, because this is related to optical properties, and they same for both modes.

Thanks, Vassili.

What?

It was your year ago post about discovering macro on your camera, if you have macro for photo it should work similar way for video. If you tell me what is your camera I can find user guide on the web and help you how to do settings.

Thanks, Vassili.

I think you may not be able to use super macro but only regular macro:
2.0 in.-1.5 ft./5-47cm (WIDE), 9.8 in.-1.5 ft./25-47cm (TELE).

It is not spelled out directly in the manual:

But I have SD900 and in video mode, I may just push func-ring left side on flower sign and choose it on the screen:

Should work. To fix camera on the subject I use this thing from RIE:

Thanks, Vassili.

I didn't pretension, but did have to hold both ends. I did this one free

now to find something thicker than my girlfriend's hair, yet thinner than my shaving brush.

Hair whittled with an old Gerber EZ-Out. Sharpened on the sharpmaker (brown) and stropped with green compound on leather

I draw some emblem. Everybody who able to whittle hare are welcome to use it.

Thanks, Vassili.

I learn how to whittle hair to have similar results as knifenut. This is not better sharpness but accurate careful whittling:

in less then hour I was able to do this more or less stable. I guess in day or two I will learn this trick better.

Thanks, Vassili.
