What a wonderful thread. I'm amazed at the massive amount of talent within our community.

Here's a few of mine, mostly for Hossom blades since he won't make a sheath :D

Hello!

Here are some CAS beauties! Ariel's beautiful sheaths go perfectly with Claudio's wonderful blades:

Dave Abramson (Lifter) hasn't gotten too much airtime in this forum. He's a good guy.

He also did his inlay version for My DH3 piece.

I cannot compete with the elegance and artistry of much of the work shown but I do think my welt lock can be considered unique.

Randy, the concept of that welt lock is indeed unique. I would love to try it, but will not because as far as I'm concerned it's your baby. I feel the same about Kenny's pin lock. At any rate it's a great and workable idea. I applaud you.

what a great idea! I'll have no quams copying it one day:)

This same post appears in a Wheeler Chopper thread, but I figured it might as well be posted in this sheath-specific thread, too:

"I seldom have need for leather sheaths, but this chopper demanded one.

That great philosopher and sage of the Customs subforum, Dr.Paul Long, when approached by Nick Wheeler with a build request for Bob Betzner, was said to have mumbled (lovingly, of course), "for that prick? Sure, why not. I'll do it Christmas Day and charge him double time-and-a-half". What a guy!

And with that, here are my very limited pics of the completed package.
