Shipping issues with The Sun

Jeff still owes me a lot of money and he now refuses to respond to my emails.
Jeff, I will be keep bumping this thread untill you make good on your promise. I will also keep bumping these similar threads on USN and JerzeeDevil.
You have had well over a year's time to make things right but you've only managed to screw them up further, f***ing over at least 40 people in the process.
 
The Sun owes me some money, its is not a lot, but it is my money. I cant get a straight answer out of him concerning a refund. I would strongly recommend that you steer clear of this guy.
 
I saw he was canceling people's money requests on paypal when they requested refunds. The guy's an absolute crook. Stay clear.
 
Still getting the run around from Jeff. The most recent email said he would get me my refund as soon as possible. Same bullshit he told me 7 or 8 months ago. It is too late for me to file a PP dispute but I am going to call my credit card company (the card I used through paypal) and see if they can assist me.

Jeff Karg, Jeff Carte, what ever is a liar & a thief. plain & simple. he's had my Spyderco Titanium Military & Emerson Mini A100 for 4 months! & every time i contact him he gives me some B.S. excuse as to why they haven't been mailed yet. according to the text messages he's sent me the knives have been done since June! & every time he says they'll be mailed out soon. NO ONE DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CROOK! HE WILL TAKE YOUR KNIVES & YOUR MONEY WITH NO INTENT ON RETURNING THEM!

i hope i'm not too late! DON'T USE KARG!!! he IS a thief & a liar. he's had my knives for 4 1/2 months now. i've been ringing his phone for about an hour before he finally gave in &
answered. i chewed him out over this whole thing & he actually laughed. i sent him a titanium Spyderco Military & an Emerson Mini A100 ($390 worth in knives) & sent him, through paypal $230 for the work that was to be done. i've chalked everything up to a loss & already replaced the titanium Military. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT use this guy. if you do just
remember all these posts. they have warned you.

i'm not "bombing random threads" i'm telling my issues with the same crook that all these other people are having problems with. people need to know who had problems with him & what those problems were. so yeah it's easier to copy/paste than retyping my statement over & over. karg runs his business by word of mouth. so people need to know these things. or would you not agree?
 
Warning people is good, and the raw number of posts about this particular person has gotten the point across for the most part.if it gets bad enough the supermods will add him tothe hall of shame and/or ban at their discretion.
 
He still has my money (about a year now) and I haven't had any contact for quite some time. He's a crook, there's NO doubt in my mind.
 
Not very happy.
Supposedly USPS was going to be sending ME the insurance money, which isn't their way of doing things.
So supposedly the check has been in the mail for over a month now?
No knife+no money=not happy.
 
Still no insurance.
Just e-mailed Jeff to see if I can at least get $100 to buy a couple of axes.

Necrobump, but I'm starting to piece together some inconsistencies in Jeff's story.

I think that Jeff didn't ANY work on that Strider at the time he reported that it was shipped to you. Here's why - he made this post on another forum on 4/19/11. He states that he was battling that lung infection for 3 months and he was just "recently" getting back to work. There is overlap in that time period he was sick, the time you sent him a knife, and the day he reported that it was done.

If he was too sick to work, there is no way he could have done the mod work in late February/March. Otherwise if he did, then that means he wasn't as gravely ill as he claimed to be. If I recall correctly, he was sick as early as January - someone back me up on this, it's been a while. But if he was being dishonest about his health, there's no reason to believe that he didn't just relegate your SMF to backlog, or worse.

There is not a looooooooooog list as implied above. Most people have already received their knives back completed and a few have received their refunds.

I am just recently getting back to work after a three month fight with a lung infection which had a lot to do with why my backlog has grown.

i am not out to screw anyone over. I have well over 300 projects that i've done for people on three or four forums that have gone off without a hitch!!! My health, and life jumped up in front of these current time frames and there was nothing else i could do about it.

Now that i can work again things are moving more smoothly and RNST along with everyone else that requested will receive their refunds.

Oh I'm entirely certain he just scammed the knife.
On the positive side, jerks like him provided much inspiration for what happens to people in my book.;)

That is the only place this liar and thief belongs.

He has ripped of people to the tune of thousands of dollars with false promises or repayment (on three forums that I can prove), sending their knives back, actually saying he has already paid it back without any proof.

Anyone who ever deals with Jeff is a complete FOOL and deserves whatever happens to them. Do not send him $ or your knife because you will be sending your knife Christmas Cards every year that it is missing from your collection.

I sure hope he has been banned from here. I would trust my knives and money more with the Saudi Scammer than Jeff.
