Show me your Blur!

Its been a long time since I carried a Blur. I have been wanting to try out CPM-154 and the Blur is back in my pocket

Let the operation... I mean Blurgery begin (I didnt know it was going to be like real surgery!)

There was SOOO much loctite on this thing, and the pivot bolt was round, Very round. It just spun in place. This took about an hour to get the pivot screw out.

I did some Blur surgery today too, fortunately my screw wasn't rounded, but there was a lot of thread locker! I used a soldering iron to warm it up, went smoothly after that.

Yours looks great, it's exactly what I'd do with a green CF handle! Too rich for my blood though.

Looks nice. I actually prefer that satin blade with the CF. I swapped my TS blade onto my CF and decided I liked it better the way it was. My green and red CF blur's will be here today. Christmas came 19 days early this year thanks to Dave!
 
The SW blade does look a lot better with the CF. This combo was expensive to make, but with using blem knives wasnt too bad. Glad you guys like it, I think incaorchid did something like this a while back.
 
That looks SO much better! Now you have to show us the Bor handle with the dlc blade!

That makes me want to swap my ZDP blade onto my green cf handle!

How's this for a unicorn blur? Purple handle, carbon fiber inserts, polished ZDP blade!
 
Thanks to Chester, I now have my first Blur! Just never pulled the trigger until now....was worth the wait:-)

Good choice for you first Blur! I love the CF models. By far the best looking IMO.I just got the red and green from Dave yesterday.

Very nice! I'd love to have the red and green to go with my black CF, but I'd have to swap in S30V or CPM-154 blades, and that would just be too much $$$ :(
