Finishing up another 'Vegan Croc" for a customer this one in M4... Should perform well I think

Specs:
Steel: 3/16" M4 (Heat Treat By Peter's 59-60 HRC)
OAL: 21.25"
Blade: 14"
Handle: Stabilized Honduran Rosewood

Man - I'd be hard pressed to find a thread that has knives more beautiful/bad-ass than the ones in this thread. Amazing stuff, and very cool to look at.

Here is one I just finished up today. Its Aldo's 5160 and Canvas Micarta. I'll be posting it for sale as soon as I get a sheath made.

I have loved this thread, some amazing pieces. That one Ryan just posted is a knockout. Here's a smaller Jimmy Fikes I recently added to my collection. Certainly, a different blade shape but has the great double Turk heads. This one has his bead blasted Hamon but there is a hard to photograph temper line, the blade is 8", OAL is 13 1/2, 1/4" steel.

Win, that's a nice piece. I have not seen the "scratched" initial on many Fikes pieces. There's one on my Fikes / Fogg cloud cutter. Do you know if your knife was a collab?

Glad you like this one, just different enough to be "special". Joss, I doubt it's a collab, I have a few with this mark. I liked that he used this and the blossom, that is a little different.

I posted this on Jimmy's FB and he told me it's a "Field Cleaver" from the early '90s, similar to the one used for cutting the rope in his video. He still has the original and uses it in the kitchen.
