This is one I finished up for myself just a few weeks ago. I'd never had a proper "big chopper"...... I do now!

Blade: O1 steel 3/16" x 11" cutting edge length, 3 3/8" at its widest.
Handle: Figured Bubinga with black fiber liners and ebony pins.
Sheath: Bubinga, fully lined with oiled leather, full welt, removable shoulder strap.

You should look into an HI khukuri. HI even has a sub forum in the manufacturers section. They sell blemished items there in DOTD (Deal Of The Day) threads.

A pretty picture of the one I donated to Knife Rights (sheath by Luke Swenson), taken by someone who actually knows how to run a camera:

I'm looking to give this bad-ass bush knife from Scott Gossman a new home.... its 13" overall with a 8" blade. Steel is A2, handle micarta.

I think you'll be very happy with your purchase, congratulations! Scott is a very fine craftsman and a very nice guy. I was fortunate enough to meet he and his wife at this past Blade show. He had a table not far from ours and we basically had to stare at eachother for the whole weekend. On the final day Todd and I thought we'd better introduce ourselves. We walked over and were greeted with a warm smile and great conversation (neither of which I get from Todd usually:D) . Mr. Grossman puts out a great product and that particular knife really caught my eye.

On point, I'm still toting 'ol #1.
