I have seen this Parker Collector service stuff. I am wary about that myself. I do not like to collect from professionals. I like to collect knives that someone owned and lightly used. I cannot afford to be a high end collector, nor do I want to get taken. I am sure someone knows who this is, but a one of kind Case very well could be just someone rescaling knives, or even producing a fake. I do not recognize any of those tang stamps. They seem odd, but very well could be a special run. I am not an expert, just cynical. It may be worth a search on Bernard Levine's forum about that, I am sure some good info would be discovered. That Case toenail in green bone is incredible, a few posts up. Wow! To think I longed for the wood one! LOL

I agree with you on every point(especially the one about the Green Bone posted above). I'm usually not that agreeable.;)

Lot's of great photos posted. I have a few Case dotted series toenails. I bought a GEC toenail to try as an EDC. I found it to be too bulky and heavy to carry in the front pocket of my jeans. Protourist, you have probably gone to this site already but will mention it anyway. elephanttoenails.com has a lot of information and lot's of good photos.

Outstanding examples of BigAsses Kerry. Greg, your three today are beauties. Thanks for the great pics.

This one is...wow...just...wow. Magnificent. Someone is a lucky bastard indeed.

Bib front overalls were the working man's uniform back in those days, so I don't think those guys would have had any problem carrying these knives.

The swedge thread got me thinking and I had to bring this back up and see all the 'nails.
I hope nobody minds.
I'm still trying to make up my mind which one I want to buy. With all these examples, decisions are difficult.

I've only got this crappy photo. Three Northfield Sunfish: Banana Peel smooth bone, Tractor Green jigged bone, and amber jigged bone.

I just never could get my head into this pattern. There are some nice examples in this thread. I can relate to what protourist said in his last post. "I wish I hadn't seen that."

One of the coolest patterns, IMO - Thanks for bumping this one up! As much as I like 'em, there's just no way I could possibly see myself lugging a full sized one around everyday. Now, a baby one, on the other hand...
