I share in your strangeness as I too, dislike clip points on modern knives. For traditionals... it just feels right. A close second for me is a muskrat clip point (as long as it is proportioned to be more stout like the 74 stallion). I still love sheepfoot, but especially on a 15 frame, the curves of a clip point provides a nice counterpoint to the straight handle.Maybe I'm not traditional enough but I like this as much as one with an end cap...lol. In any case, the clip blade has taken over as my favorite traditional blade shape, replacing the sheepsfoot. It's weird, I hate clip points on modern knives. I'm strange in that way...

Thanks for the kind words regarding my set of 15s and I'm also pleased to find myself in the company of a fellow WJ fanFine Weaver Jack that one and not so easy to find. I have a user in Black Jigged bone that I carry a lot, but, of course that's another pattern and another thread.
Very decent array you've got together there, tasteful.
Thanks, Will
Thanks Perry. I do have several other 15's but for me, the single blade clip point takes the cake.Me too Scott. That's a real beauty!
