Show off your Fiddlebacks and Leather

I would just about bump somebody off for that maple or ash bolstered Big Sneaky up top, that thing is sweeeet.

Missing some pants, and a Bushraptor is currently slumming a little in a Bark River Gunny Sheath. Both Rick Lowe and Jou Fuu are working to rectify the situation.

I would definitely go to my grave with those two. Well done. Rick really pulled out the colors of the wood in his leather dye. Did you have to send him the knives in order to match the color? I know Rick has a lot of patterns for Fiddlebacks, but the color match is spot on.
Rick eyeballed it using a few high resolution pics; I was blown away when I received the set! I've had Rick do a number of sheathes to complement various handle configurations, and they're always spot on!

That Big Sneaky is getting some romp around pants so that I can give it some love, but I think it is deserving of a special set of britches for when we get dressed up. Email me if you have some good suggestions.

Posted this in the Collections thread but thought I'd throw it in here as well.

Look at what is coming in the mail next week! Now I can have some Fiddleback love every day of the week.

Hello Folks,

I have a few of Diomedes Industries (Talfuchre) sheaths for various knives. The bottom sheath is a custom that Tal created for my FBF Arete. The top sheath is a beautiful double stitch work horse for my FBF Terrassaur.

I really can't say how much I appreciate them and your talent Tal. Well done my friend!

Sincerely,
Mark

Had some additions in both pants and knives. Not a complete collection shot, but the ones not pictured will work in one or more of these sheaths.

That is quite the collection Walt. Mighty fine examples of Fiddlebacks and leather both. I take it you like RLo's pocket clips :) I have one for my EDK. Works perfect for me since I pocket carry in left front and belt carry right hip.

Thank you thurin. Likewise, I front pocket carry left (weak) side and belt carry IWB on the strong. I carry more midline than hip as my work has me sitting at a desk a lot of the day. It is more comfortable for me on the midline. it is good to see you back in the saddle a little bit.

Thanks! Distractions are a good thing sometimes, and what better distraction than a Fiddleback Friday?

None better my friend. I'll be out of pocket here in a little while, but I hope you can at least observe the action.

We are lucky here to have so many gifted sheath makers here. I am trying to order sheaths from each to support all of the forum members. This is my latest from Bonafide:
