Cool photo and love the acorn 15...I've only seen a few of those pop up here and there. The DLT SFO 14 would look really nice next to that oneAnother tortoise fan

Will Power Will, if I didn’t know better I would think that you have a fondness for a good Pen knife.
My friend you have some very beautiful examples in acrylic. All are highly desirable models!

That's the unobtanium I was referring to. Love that blade combo is that brass bolsters and shield?I don’t have many acrylic models. This #74 was my first and coming from my first Great Eastern Cutlery Rendezvous in 2015 make it sort of special to me!

Wow great collection! I haven't seen the bull nose in tortoise shell before that looks greatHere are (almost) all of my acrylic GEC knives. For the most part they're GEC's "standard" acrylics: Tortoise Shell, Nifebrite. I really like the Unicorn Ivory #25; I was glad to get ahold of that one last year. The Glitter Gold #78 just came in the mail a couple days ago; I ordered it directly from GEC after noticing them in the Rendezvous thread. It's a little outside my comfort zone, but I kinda like it.(Sorry for the poor quality indoor/windowsill photo. It's been raining here the last couple days.)

I say "almost" all my acrylic GEC's because I realized as I was putting them away that I forgot this #47 Hay'n Helper in Nifebrite (old photo).

Here are some other (better) photos of some of the knives from the group photo above.

Did I mention that I got lucky with the Unicorn Ivory #25? So lucky, in fact, that I was able to gift two to a couple good friends from the Porch.

Oh wow thanks for sharing that. Bob's passing and being the last knife you bought from him must make that bull nose a real treasure. It is nice to look at pretty knives but to have a good story or sentimental value is what makes them special. Thanks! That Tortoise Shell Bull Nose was an SFO for Bob Andrews at Old Hundred Collectibles, who, sadly, is no longer with us. I think that was the last knife I bought from him, too.
Thanks! It is indeed a keeper! I’m fortunate to have all four Pony Jack Clip variations! That's a keeper, what a great knife.
Wow that gold sparkle is definitely an acquired taste![]()
