3 DOXIES? Are you nuts? Doxies are the best dogs I've ever had but geez they are demanding. I once read the description of shorthaired Doxies as "I'm right, You're wrong and you owe me an apology!" That is pretty accurate.

Each one definitely has her own personality. They pick one person to bond with. Yep they can be a LITTLE stubborn and demanding. We were only going to have two but the wife and daughter turned on the water works for the third one, so you know how that goes.... now we have 3. The dapple was the "boss" but my daughters has seem to taken over as mine has gotten a little older.

Don't know if you have seen the 60's Disney movie The Ugly Dachshund but it really shows doxie behavior. My wife really likes this movie and I have seen it more than I care to admit.

no pix of my dog on this computer but i have:

a 3 yo Mini Pin (Sophie daddy's girl) and
a 2 yo Jack Russell Terrier (Bella LOVES everyone...my hiking buddy)


Love em both like they are my kids. :)

Too funny, except mine aren't so well behaved. Instead of knitting supplies, they like to pull the stuffing out of all the pillows and scatter it around the house. Between that and all of their toys, looks pretty much the same. But they are great and wouldn't change a thing.

Got another one of my Shiloh from our last hike, this time hopping a log. Not much of a jump for her, but man, I sure wish I could do a standing jump of twice my height!

Here is my pal, Lucky. The first is when he was a little guy, he would play like a wild animal then just flop over and pass out. The second is Lucky doing what he loves, riding in the car. He just turned 2 last week.
