You have a point there.:D However my wife is more apt to let a horse in the house than a dog. The likes dogs but she like them outside. Cats too.

Well, I see I need to play, too! :D
Here is one-half of Da Wild Boyz, my blue Doberman Moody Blue, checking out my Steel Heart Ergo (knife porn!)

And his brother, Wild Boy da Younger, Chaco--he's fawn Dobie and eating the chunk I batoned with the ergo:

I loves the Wild Boyz...just call me "Sleeps With Dobermans!" :D

Here's one of my lil' darlings...at the beginning of lure coursing. She's an irish wolfhound

My dapple dachshund. Loves to eat everything she can catch from dragonfly's to doves.

Warming up in the sun when we were hiking up in Colorado.

Here's a pic of our beagle, Molly Bear, and myself (I'm the not so cute one...). We rescued her from the pound last May only to find out last week that she has some sort of kidney disease (lepto--something) and will doubtfully make it through Christmas. She's been my faithful dayhike companion since the day after we brought her home. The kids are pretty bummed out. I'm gonna miss her, too.

MORE DOG PICTURES!!...........please:) Thanks to all that posted. I miss my two Old English Sheepdogs terribly, but you know I don't find myself having those feelings for the ex where they got to stay.

We have three dachshunds, we adopted her from the animal shelter about 2 years ago. She has made a great addition to our family.

My wifes spoiled rotten dachshund. Goes on all the trips with us. She even has a little bed and bag that she takes along.

Yes, that's better. Thank you all very much. Dog people are good people and there are too many great pictures and dogs to thank individually. Good on all of you and our best friends.

That's so cute. I feel for ya. My dog died of cushings disease back in July. He was a real character.

3 DOXIES? Are you nuts? Doxies are the best dogs I've ever had but geez they are demanding. I once read the description of shorthaired Doxies as "I'm right, You're wrong and you owe me an apology!" That is pretty accurate.
Does 1 run the house or are they all "the boss"?
