I always liked this thread, a lot of the images have been dropped but I got a lot out of it. I thought I would put up a kit and bring it back to life...

What size cable/zip ties are you guys using? And what for??
They're a one shot deal, so paracord or rope would be better.
Unless you're gonna use some big ones for temp handcuffs.

BTJR,

The zip ties in my kit are for attaching my ATAX to a handle (a lot of other uses too..):

Hey mn,

Thanks for bringing this back up. I was looking for this thread a week ago. Since I don't have the search function, and wasn't good with it when I did, I now keep a Word document with the URL's (?- one step above computer illiterate :o) for all the threads with recurring themes.

And you're right, a lot of pictures have been dropped, so I'm going to relink mine tonight.

This is the basic contents of my kit. I will snap a pic of the contents of my psk(pelican case) and post them as well.

Yep, this a worthwhile thread... I ws looking through it and thinking that we don't see some of these guys posting anymore here.. wonder where they went.

Doc - I'll do the same soon.

Ok, I don't have it yet but:
:D

So YOU are one of the lucky bastards you won a kit! :D Those things are sweet setups.

MNeedham- Good call to bring this whole thing back up, great thread. Kind of sums up a lot of recurrent threads that go on here (not that reviewing these pics/material is bad!). Here's a pic of mine I posted not long ago at all, very similar to psy-ops:

That reminds me, Stu Toffee, I still haven't got those dog tags yet. :)

Some are made with a place you can press to release. The rest can be opened with a small, flat blade - like the tweezers on a SAW or very small screw driver.

Here is the pic of my pelican psk. I have 55o cord, and a bic, and lifeboat matches that arent in the pic.
