I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered them 5 years ago, got 2 exactly the same.

You're not alone friend, I do the same thing on a regular basis... :/

As to Model #19's, this one sold and shipped on Saturday, it's shown on page 80 of my book - had it seven years, now it's headed east...

Here are a few 'new to me' RMK's - both came from friends here at BFC...

Model #26 with #25 handle (thanks Jerry), and a old stock six option Combat Companion (thanks John) - both in new, unused, in original 'as delivered' condition with original paperwork. How about you guys, anything new to you?

Shel, that combat companion would be a perfect match for my #1. ;)
And the #26 is just gorgeous.
Great catch!

Oh my!
Those Bowles' are amazing.

Jdmtampa,

Have you got a pic of the other case we only partially see on the left?

The one with the green handle looks pretty cool I think, at least the handle does anyway.

Here is the beginnings of my collection. I got the Model 1 a few weeks ago, and the other two today. I don't know how accurate the information is, but I was told the model 8 sheath is a Johnson, and the model 1 sheath had the stone pouch cut off "typical" of the guys that carried in vietnam. The model 1 also had some brown leather stain applied to the stag....I kinda like the darker look. From my limited knowledge, it looks like the Model 14 has a couple options? Forward hilt and single finger groove? I have a total of $1400 in the three of them. Is that reasonable? The model 1 and 8 will be regularily carried and used.

You did well. The #8 is late 1970's to mid 1980's, the #1 is early to mid 90's (not Vietnam era), the #14 is post '94 and has four options - stainless blade, nickel-silver hilt, forward curved hilt, single finger groove handle. You're into them for a fair price and you're off to a good start.

Thanks Melvin! I think it's just the light, but I'm pretty sure the 14 is a brass hilt. My picture taking skills are lacking.
